I had many concerns about which company to choose and thanks to Doris and Ionut I decided to trust GREEN ELECTRO HEATING. Thank you for the great advice and help. Thank you to the two engineers Virgil and Stefan who installed the heat pump who showed high knowledge and experience. They did the work quickly and cleanly. Thank you to the entire company you should get 10 stars out of 5 possible.

Highly responsive, explained everything, and able to work with an unusual situation of installation at short notice of the heat pump in a house in the midst of renovation (when the boiler failed). Lots of follow-ups and check-ups to make sure all was working well and to answer questions. Everyone I have dealt with has a real can-do attitude, positivity and a willingness to problem-solve, unlike some of the bigger companies I spoke to while researching, who had a one-size-fits-all approach and were unable to consider anything out of their template.

All that and Green Electro were competitive on price, too.

I had been thinking of changing my very old gas boiler for an electric alternative for quite some time before I found Green Electro Heating on the Vaillant website whilst looking at heat pumps. The company was very near to me in Enfield, which was a bonus. I filled in a form to register my interest and was called back within a couple of hours. Dorina explained everything very clearly and said that I would qualify for the Government's grant of £7,500 as long as I was a home-owner, had a good enough EPC grade and had found an MCS-accredited installation company, which they were themselves. The next step was a survey by Ionut, the founder of the company. He said my 2-bed garden flat in a converted house would be suitable for the heat pump, although it did take a while and some head-scratching to find a suitable place to fit the pump in the garden, as it was too wide to fit against a wall. My radiators were fine and wouldn't need changing and the hot water cylinder could be fitted into the space in the bathroom where the boiler was - just! Green Electro Heating applied for the grant on my behalf via the Government website and I got it with no trouble at all. It is not means-tested, unlike many hand-outs.
The whole system was installed in two and a half days in January with minimum disruption and the cylinder was boxed in by one of the installers on the following Saturday. Since then I have been enjoying a warm flat and feeling pleased that I am 'going green'. I am spending a bit more on electricity than I did before, but I keep the pump on all day and it's worth it. When the weather is warmer, I've noticed, the cost goes down a lot. I don't understand why electric is so much more expensive than gas when the Government is telling everyone to get rid of gas!

I am renovating my first house and always knew that I wanted to have a heat pump installed. I initially chose to go through a large energy company as I felt this was 'safer' - however, at this moment in time, they only offer retrofitting, so it was difficult to organise as I was mid-renovation. Additionally, I found out that they had huge waiting times for installation (10-15 weeks) which for a house without a heating system (in winter) is just not feasible. It was the end of November and I was desperate to have a heat pump fitted before Christmas.

I found Green Electro Heating through the 'Vaillant Heat Pump installers by you' feature - they were the top rated / most experienced installers. I called and Dorina was supremely organised and a calming presence (when I was not!). She understood the time pressure I was under and managed to get Ionut to conduct a heat loss survey within a week. I met Ionut at the house and he answered all my questions clearly and explained to me how the system would work. He managed to send me the calculations later that day so I could order appropriate radiators asap. This enabled the installation to occur the week after meaning that start to finish everything happened within 2-weeks.

I cannot recommend Green Electro Heating highly enough - especially for anyone who is interested in having a heat pump installed but is wanting to complete renovations at the same time. Ionut and his team are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely efficient.

I particularly appreciated Ionut's honesty about it being an easy task which I could do myself with his guidance over the phone to avoid a call out charge.
