I first heard of Serial Port Monitor in a 3d Printer users' group. I contacted Electronic Team almost on a whim and, to my surprise they let me have a copy. I am totally unqualified to review the software but I can comment on how pleasant it was to deal with Doris Lane who was more than helpful. Merry Christmas Doris and thanks again!

I am trouble-shooting a BlueTooth PC to calculator serial link. Nobody else's Serial Port Monitor worked in this complex situation.
The Electronic Team software for this is excellent and very rich in depth. Also their Customer Support is excellent, responding the same day by email with helpful, on the ground, advice.

MacDroid was super solid for me as I was custom building a Raspberry Pi from my Mac Mini.

Clean, smooth, no difficulties at all.

Elmedia is a great video player, better than any other I have used

I was a sceptical when I found Donglify, but was impressed how simple it was to set up and get working to access my encrypted key dongle while on the move - I now don't have to worry about losing or breaking it on my commutes.

Cloudmounter is a neat software if you store your file in multiple cloud provider (Google Drive, Dropbox) and you can also use any S3 compatible bucket and pay as you go. Works nice on Mac and Windows. So far the most stable and easy to use that I have tried.

Folx is one of the best download manager. Torrent search section is the best feature

I have been searching for a way to send video over WiFi for a week.
Checked out DIGI (AnywhereUSB ) not easy enough for me. And price is the highest, but is the only one come with a hardware.
Others software are too hard for me by watching 4-5 Utube.
USB network gate software is on the high end but offer one time purchase without annual renew.
It is the easiest to install and use compare to others.
I can have it running and watch video between 2 laptops over 5G 200 MB/s 200 feet apart using point to point AP antennas within 15 minutes just by clicking the mouse without typing any words or numbers.
The software can tell me the name of the USB I use after I swap to different ones.
It is solid and and without any dropout during watching movies.
Worth every pennies !

As a former Norton Commander user, the presentation with a splitted screen is very addictive.
I love to find this presentation with MacOs, with a lot of features in addition.
Very good product.

Elmedia Player: I've been using many different media players for MacOS at the same time. Mostly because each has good features, but it requires to switch from one to the other. I have used the Free Elmedia player and was stunned I could cast my on videos to my TV with so much fluidity, no lagging, top quality. All those video file formats, subtitles granularity (incl auto connect to subtitles.org or other). Most definitely the best media player on the market. I've decided to purchase the Pro version, not a subscription and that's a great point!

Electronics is my hobby since I was a kid, several years ago started to learn Arduino and eventually came to a point where Arduino needed to communicate with PC via RS232. I am programming small apps with Visual Studio in C#, so getting data from Arduino and sending commands back to it involves bunch of errors and in the beginning of making some device communications most often is not working. And this is where Electronic Team Serial Port Monitor comes superhandy - it shows what data is sent and what data is received, thus it becomes very easy to understand what is done wrong or why data is not displayed correctly in the new windows app interface. I used to check all this with logic analyzer, but Serial Port Monitor is so much better and more convenient, that I am recommending it without doubt, just try and you will surely like it (it comes with 14 days demo). Most useful features for me were - table view and dump view windows, those two are rally convenient when it comes to data analysis, also SPM can save and then open gathered data, which is most convenient thing and gives some time to think about what is seen on display, then turn off the app and open again, with same data and continue checking without need to do all the communication procedure again. And in the table view there is a possibility to leave notes, which, again, is very convenient, just to mark that something on PC is done and here is the outcome in the RS232 port, corresponding to your program. Electronic Team - thank you for very useful tool for all newbies and professionals in electronics.

I have been using the new version of Cloudmounter (4.2). It can use native mounting in MacOS..that means it can use the built-in fileprovider technology to allow offline cloud files - just like iCloud does. Seems to be working nicely so far with a low memory and CPU footprint. Now I use 1 app to keep GDrive, Dropbox and my local WebDAV drives all mounted.

I've been using Serial Port ActiveX for years to monitor incoming serial comms from camera hardware. Integration into my app was easy. My app is used 8 hours a day and Serial Port ActiveX has been faultless.

I am using Network Gate to share both my webcam and headset between my pc and my laptop. Latency is impressive, very responsive. Support for other USB devices is also very large. This saves me the hassle of using a active USB extension and a USB switch.

Moving from Windows to Mac I was looking for a new set of tools to suit my workflow. Typically using a N++++n Commander style file manager, I was very much looking for a Mac-alternative. Seems I found one with Commander One. Besides core features, it is clearly aimed to allow customizing to needs and not forcing a "Mac"-way on me. Also reaching out to support was quick and easy. Much appreciated.

I use Elmedia player daily, it is amazing, so smooth and have alot of features
but, I hope to create a special version for iOS too
