I cannot speak highly enough of Elegant Golf Resorts following the recent disruption due to wildfires of our holiday to Cabot Bordeaux.
On Saturday the hotel was badly affected by smoke as the fires edged closer.Reception had informed us of the very real possibility that we would be evacuated.
We contacted EGR to request assistance to get back home as soon as possible.
Although it was a weekend their response was magnificent and hugely sympathetic and supportive.
Conversations with Ebrima, Richard and Catherine culminated in urgent arrangements being made on our behalf to fly us back to the UK later that evening with hotel accommodation and onward travel arrangements put in place.They really did come to our aid in our hour of need.

Excellent and prompt advice from Kieran Lamb when exploring options for a short golfing break for the family. This was followed by great administrative support from Catherine O'Neill. Fantastic service throughout.
Would definitely recommend this company and will use again for future golfing holidays.

Just returned from a fantastic golf…
Just returned from a fantastic golf holiday in the Algarve. Elegant golf has arranged our trip for many years now,and it always runs to perfection. We played Ombria which was recommended by them, and it turned out to be an amazing addition to our usual courses. Catherine who organises the final arrangements is excellent and always willing to assist us with the final details and timings.

Just a quick note to thank you for all your efforts in organising our trip to Costa Navarino. We had a fab week and loved the upgrade we got to the two bedroomed suite. The weather was glorious and the golf great. The service was exceptional and we loved all the friendly Greeks.

Silver Coast Portugal
Just a quick thank to Caroline and Richard for arranging our visit to Praia D’el Rey at the Silver Coast in Portugal.
Apart from the passport delay it went like clockwork.
It is such a compact resort & the hotel is great, allied with the shuttles to the courses and even the fabulous fish restaurant and once again we we went there twice.
The three courses are all in fabulous condition also a re tough tests.
Your organisation was pivotal to our enjoyment and already looking forward to our next trip.

This is the 2nd holiday we have booked through Elegant golf resorts. They were able to beat the price I had worked up and also sorted all the buggies and private transfer within the same price.
It was all done very smoothly and everything met our expectations. I will be using them again in the future.

Spring golf trip
We had a lovely time, good weather, excellent organisation throughout. Those of us who have been before weren’t disappointed & those who hadn’t were very happy. Matrix, the airport/golf transport company were brilliant too. All in all we were very pleased and would definitely do it again using the same company & venue.

Didn't seem to want my money despite my best efforts!
Tried for a week to book a trip through this company. Nobody responded to my enquiry so I had to chase. Was sent a quotation for one resort that I was happy to book, but again, the agent took so long to come back to me that the hotel were no longer willing to honour the price. A additional option was given and the agent told me he would send through more, which I never received and never got a response to my email follow up. I was prepared to give them my money but they didn't seem to want it, and the service was just terrible. Surely some commission is better than none?! I booked through a competitor and got a good deal arranged straight away. Bizarre.

Unfortunately, the agent originally looking after you, is now out of the business for a period of time, and it is clear that we fell short in picking up your request, for which we sincerely apologise.
However, we would welcome the opportunity to provide you with our usual outstanding service, should you give us the opportunity in the future.

One. of course, is your own and the other is feedback on a hotel closure, of which we had no prior knowledge, so it is very upsetting to hear of your experience with us.

The golf break from start to finish was seamless from the time we arrived at Bournemouth airport to landing back home after a fantastic week. Great 27 holes a with a wonderful clubhouse and hotel . A sea view from everywhere.
It is probably a buggy for most people and the clubhouse closes early however Lagos is only a very cheap Uber away or a 45 minute walk along the boardwalk .
