I had a gaming monitor that unfortunately developed a fault.

I contacted Elekdirect (AO) via Email and was responded to almost immediately by a real person (Dale) not an A.I. Bot!

Dale arranged refund and collection of the faulty Monitor speedily and with no stress.

I was impressed bu his diligence.

The delivery time were also excellent - ringing me in the morning at 7 am to coniform collection before they set off,

Unlike other couriers - AO actually let you track the delivery van in real time and provide a contact number. This took the stress out of waiting in all day massively.

Collection was quick and smooth.

Contact with Dale maintained and amicable resolution to the issue resolved without fuss.

Real review - Thought i would do the team a favour as they clearly worked hard to provide a good service.

We ordered the wrong dishwasher but did not realise because it sat unpacked whilst we completed our kitchen. On Sunday 26th October we unpacked it with our installation plumber and realised our mistake.

We immediately took photos and emailed the service department. And then phoned on Monday 27th morning.

Step in the extraordinary Dale Fletcher. He asked several questions to clarify the situation, assessing the merit of our genuine mistake and agreed to exchange the machine for the one we thought we had bought.

Not only did he do that - he also worked hard to find a date to get the replacement to us fast as we had been w/o a DW for so long.

He offered generous & professional & efficient solutions to our mess-up. We could hardly believe our good fortune.

Dale was superb.

But we also think perhaps his response is the culture of the company? - that the ELekDirect/AO commitment to the customer is important to them?

You dont feel that often these days.

If you are planning to buy any white goods - buy them from ELEK DIRECT & AO - if you genuinely mess up you'll be looked after by someone who cares.

I hadn’t heard of Elek Direct before I started looking for a TV mount. They happened to be selling exactly what I needed for about £30 less than other retailers, simply because the box was damaged and the mount had a few minor scratches. Apart from that, everything appeared to be included.
When the item arrived, I checked it over and then put it away until I was ready to install it. That’s when I noticed a few screws were missing. I emailed Elek Direct after 8 p.m., expecting I’d probably need to call them the next day.
To my surprise, by 10 a.m. the next morning, Dale from Elek Direct had already replied, apologised for the issue, and offered two options: they could arrange a collection and full refund, or provide a partial refund so I could source the missing screws myself.
I chose the partial refund since I didn’t want the hassle of repacking or finding a new mount. I expected it to take a few days, but the money was in my account within half an hour!
Thanks to Dale Fletcher for the quick response and for turning a small problem into a really positive experience.

I would certainly recommend Elek Direct and will use them again

We ordered a cooker which unfortunately we had to return as our power supply was not sufficient. Devastated as the price was so good. Delivery and return was really good and communication excellent.

Dale Fletcher was excellent, I bought a washing machine and unfortunately it got a little damaged in transit, but Dale was great on the phone and arranged a discount for me. The whole experience was really very good. Price was great, delivery was prompt, plus you can use PayPal pay in three which is super helpful. I would use ElekDirect again without hesitation.

The samsung fridge freezer was as described in the pictures and the delivery lads were absolutely amazing and nothing was a problem. Washing machine was a great price, 25% less than competitor. Everything went very smoothly after I chose a delivery date. I had queries afterwards which were addressed within minutes over the phone. I am
one happy customer and would recommend AO unreservedly.
