SHOCKED! that this site is still operating! Where is our government?? I had same experience as others: clothing was not as advertised, sending it to China only got it sent back to me from Florida! SCAM. One of many, all using the same model for their website.

I echo the 1 star ratings for this company. Terrible quality and poor fit. Return policy non existent. Promise of refund never occurred!

HORRIBLE scam. Dress was not like image pictured, way too big and horrible design. Paid $30 to return as i didn’t want it to end up in a landfill here but it got shipped back to china and hasn’t arrived after 3 months. No refund.

This website is definitely a scam, BEWARE. They coerced my elderly mother into purchasing dresses promising free shipping and “no hassle returns”. When the items were delivered, they were of poor quality, as well as poor fit. I started the return process of the items purchased (in the United States, shipped from within the United States per the packaging container). The return was (at the customer’s cost) to be sent to China… cost of $309 which was triple the purchase price.

I contacted the company they offered $25, additional discount for me to keep the item. When I contacted the credit card company, they opened a dispute and later found the information provided by this company to be acceptable. Nowhere on this company’s website, does it say you will be returning your items out of this country.

This is truly elder abuse. Ellis and Vale, the website, a scam, once again… BEWARE.

The debacle I experienced was very similar to many of the other reviews that I read. The dress came in many sizes too large not the style that I had ordered and there was no way I was keeping it after all of the emails back-and-forth 20% refund 30% 50% I just said nope I’m disputing with my credit card companywhich I did successfully because I had lots of emails to back up and I had photos. I did get my money back and that dress is in the laundry room and a rag shop.

This store IS NOT IT. Please check the reviews. If I could leave NO stars, that would suffice. The one item that I purchased was totally different from what I recieved. I wish that I had searched for reviews beforehand. Paypay did assist me with a return.

I really wish I had read these reviews before ordering 3 dresses. I was charged $138 and it took a few weeks for the dresses to arrive. They are HUGE. I ordered small and they are XL and very cheaply made.Company sent me return info.To return to China will cost at least $40(non refundable) and require a customs form. I may dispute the charges

I ordered one dress and the fabric was cheaper than I expected. I can return it at my expense to CHINA or take a 20% refund and keep the item.

Do not order from this website. They make it look like it is an American company.

The dress that came to me was NOWHERE near the design photograph as represented. Shoddy workmanship, seams already frayed right outside of the packaging.
Buyer Beware.
Slick advertising included celebs modeling "their" fashion.

I bought what looked like a stylish dress from the photo. Big disappointment when it arrived. It's made of a cheap, synthetic, ugly fabric and the hems are machine sewn not using a hemming stitch. This makes me question if I should EVER purchase clothing online again. I asked to return it. Company has not responded.

I purchased two dresses from this site after looking at reviews. Some were bad some are good. I decided to take a chance because I really love the styles of the dresses. The site also mentioned it was a going out of business sale so I figured they were just trying to get rid of inventory at a cheaper price. I realized after a while that I had not received my order and found that I could not reach out to them. Their website was gone and the link that had shipping information no longer worked. I notified my bank for a chargeback. 2 Days Later I received an overnight package from Ellis and Vale. I again notified my bank that I had received the merchandise so that the charge would now go through. The quality was just okay but more than anything I'm confused by this seller. After I received my merchandise, the website was back up. I would never order from them again but definitely warning people to beware.

If I could do less than 1 star I would as their return policy does not say you have to mail your return to China. I wanted a complete refund of $100+ because the 2 dresses I ordered did not fit and were nothing like advertised. They offered 30% refund to keep and I said no and then found it would cost me $50 to mail to CHINA!!! I asked for a 75% refund and they gave me a 50% refund. Do not expect what you see in a photo...Order at your own risk...

Returns need to be shipped to China at buyers expense.

This is apparently a scam site. I ordered two dresses from them on June 1st and today, when I checked the tracking of the package, all links to their site had been removed. I sent an email, but no response. I also filed a dispute with my credit card company. I've checked the box to let them know. Good luck!
