I had a custom guitar made this year #11885, it is a great looking guitar . But by far the most important thing about this guitar is its playability , and also it does have a great sound when unplugged , Every time I play the guitar I like it more than before . I am grateful to Emerald for making these guitars they have helped my guitar playing to improve a lot . Thank you

I am very impressed with the quality of workmanship on my X-30 guitar. No doubt. It is beautifully crafted and one of the best I own.
My experience with my X-30 is that although the sound quality is excellent both acoustically and plugged in, using the Ghost Piezo, I find the balance leaning significantly towards the treble side. I compare this against the balance to baritone guitars and other composite guitars I own. Although I am completely satisfied with my X-30 I think there could be room for some future improvement if Emerald sees this as a chance to improve based on their experience in acoustic performance.

It’s the accountability. And the guitar sounds and looks great!

First and foremost I need to give credit and thanks to your Ambassador Ernie from Muskego WI USA. He was the deciding factor in making the decision to purchase a guitar from Emerald Guitars. My actual purchase went without a hitch other than personally the communication could use a touch of improvement in that after making the decision to spend the amount I did I would have felt much better with a few more personal updates. Other than that all is good.

The X20 is my 2nd venture into carbon fiber guitars and I have no regrets.
My X20 itself remains the best playing acoustic guitar in my stable, even over my Taylor & Martins.
When I need another acoustic guitar there’s a solid chance it’ll be an Emerald, but with a known preamp next time as I’ve had issues with the HyVibe preamp system while on stage. Emerald has been fair about trying to resolve my issues but I had to completely abandon the HyVibe 2 with a replacement preamp.

Good communication and great, amazing, fantastic guitars, I have 6 (so far).

I just received a black X20 that was a stock guitar in the USA. I live in Hawaii and wanted a guitar that could stand up to the huge daily changes in temperature and humidity. The X20 has exceeded my expectations in build quality and sound, both unplugged and plugged in with the HiFi Duet pickup system through an LR Baggs VoicePrint DI. The Gotoh tuners are a joy. Love this guitar. I had no prior experience with Carbon Fiber and this Emerald has me very happy with my choice! Highly recommended 🤙

Phenomenal from start to finish.
I've had my X-20 for around 6 months. I was blown away with the look of the finished guitar when I picked it up and the sound is just as beautiful as the finish of it. The design and spec I submitted had many custom features and the final product was incredible. Customer service has been exemplary through the entire process with very quick turnaround on any queries I've had. Caolan and Kevin were amazing from showing me around the factory to quickly responding to any email queries I had. I cannot rate Emerald highly enough.

My X10 slimline arrive in perfect shape. Played great right out of the case. A quality instrument without question. I definitely made the right decision choosing an Emerald guitar. Very happy with the purchase.

Didn't like that we could t get ahold of customer support and the sound of the guitar

I was expecting a 4 to 6 week waiting period as stated on the site. However, I shortly received an email stating that there was a guitar that was available. I received that in about 3 or 4 days. good service , good shipping and thanks for the nice Mug!!!

Arrived with a string that instantly popped and loosened. Unsure if this is due to shipping or how it was set up. First guitar so unsure how common this is on arrival.

the instrument exceeds my expectations for a "stripped down" composite guitar. a bright, forward tone. the build quality and finish are delightful. the pickup battery pack had come adrift in the body requiring some "aftermarket" velcro and adhesive to anchor it. i am playing it more than i had anticipated, having bought it solely for RV tripping in inclement climates. there are a few fine guitars on the wall here at home enjoying hearing this little brother's voice. it really is a joy to play. delivery was swift. set-up is comfortable. well done!

I ordered an in stock X-7 that was shipped from Florida. Shipping was quick. I love the quality, playability and sound of my new X-7. It’s also very pretty. Customer service is great for any questions before or after the sale.

The web site is easy to navigate. My apparel purchase was easily completed and good communications were provided by email about the order and shipment. I was confused why only one item was delivered and contacted customer service to confirm the other item was shipped. Within hours I had confirmation back from customer service and the tracking number for the second shipment. Thanks!

The guitar is amazing! I've never purchased something so expensive without seeing it first but am thrilled with it. 2 things: 1) I ordered from "in stock" and I believe the neck width is slightly larger than "standard." It would be good to have any specs like this highlighted somehow in the description. 2) I would have appreciated more immediate communication regarding the shipping process right after I ordered. I was a bit anxious after hitting the submit button.

First rate quality product, easy order process and any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly.
My first Emerald in 2019 was a custom X10; love it! There have been no issues with it.
My latest, an X7 Opus, luckily was in stock in the Florida store and arrived at my home in Canada, 8 days from the day I ordered it in May, ‘26.
The battery pack, with battery had come loose from its attachment point during shipping and was obviously flailing around inside the guitar. Luckily, it didn’t cause any damage, other than knocking some wires from where they were attached with double sided tape to the body. Easily fixed by me, but I mentioned it to Kevin at Emerald and he assured me he would pass my concerns along, so hopefully the attachment issue could be rectified.
Any future guitars I order will be Emeralds. For me, there is no better choice.

Chris was a great host at the FL store. The X10 was beyond what I was expecting. It shipped to my home in a few days without incident. I am so inspired. Can't stop playing it. It's made me a better player. It plays like a dream. I am loving the vivid green! Never thought I'd have a green guitar. Thank you Emerald.
