I booked eMop to deal with very stubborn stains in my elderly father's bedroom. We were very impressed with the service. The lady spent 2.5 hours cleaning, eMop phoned during it to check we were happy, and overall we would have no hesitation recommending eMop for cleaning services.

Very unprofessional behaviour
Very unprofessional behaviour. Booked them for end of tenancy cleaning service 3-4 days in advance. They called 1 day before the appointment that carpet steam/deep cleaners are not available but they are trying. On the day they called again saying the same and promised that rest of the cleaning will be done as planned and later sent a cancellation email. We had to move to other city and had to book an expensive service on the last minute. If you want peace of mind, don’t book them .

eMop is a platform that connects customers with independent cleaning contractors, and we rely on their availability to fulfill bookings. While we always try our best to find a cleaner for every job, it can be challenging, especially for specialized services like carpet cleaning, as not all contractors can provide it. Great service from Prenefen!
I've been using eMop for some time now and have booked several cleans with them. They have all been great. As a landlord, I don't know how I'd cope without this service. I recently booked a clean and needed to update something on the booking. Within an instant, Prenefen (hope I've spelled his name right!) was on the case and had made my changes for me and gone above and beyond, even calling me back to confirm that everything was ok. Great customer service!

I worked at Emop as a cleaner, and my experience with the company was very positive. I was recruited by Roxanne, who was friendly, professional, and supportive from the start. She made the registration process simple and clearly explained everything I needed to know, which helped me settle into the role quickly.
At Emop, I was assigned various cleaning jobs in private homes across Manchester. The flexible working hours suited me well, and the app-based system made it easy to manage bookings and job details. I gained hands-on experience in deep cleaning, organising, and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
This role helped me strengthen my attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently. I always took pride in my work and made sure every home was left spotless and the client satisfied.

Basic cleaning equipment, very high charges
The problem with emop is that their cleaners do not have advanced equipment. The cleaner I got cleaned my carpet using hands and the cleaning machine he got did not have steam cleaning option and was very basic, due to which the dirt did not go away. They also have unnecessary extra high charges, and no one will pick your phone from customer care if there are any issues.I would recommend using a local cleaning company rather than wasting money on this

Booked a "4h Deep Clean"
Booked a "4h Deep Clean", house was left filthy.
Surfaces were barely cleaned, under tables, sofa etc was not even touched. Most windowsills were not even dusted, and neither were the various handles etc.
I was charged an extra £15 to have a cleaner bring a professional hoover, only for her to show up with the tiniest hand hoover possible, hence not appropriate for a deep clean.

Would not recommend this service
I Would not recommend this service - Twice the cleaners have tripped my electrics on my stove and today one has flooded my bathroom, to the point where my living room has water coming through!
They constantly book cleaners who are scared of dogs, even though I select the option that I have pets and have added additional comments to the booking. I wouldn't mind, she is a 4 month old pug puppy... but I'm still having to lock her outside for the duration of the clean to accommodate.
eMop do not take the same responsibility for the staff, as they're a 'Booking' service. They've also been unresponsive to my contact attempt twice on their 'chat' channel on the website.
Just utilise someone local and avoid eMop all together.
