We paid £1580 (including delivery) to this company for an engine on 03/02/26. It never arrived so after giving them the legally required time for delivery we have asked for a refund.
Over 40 calls, voicemails, txt msgs,WhatsApp msgs, emails and letters we are still waiting for a refund. If you don’t want to be a victim of fraud DO NOT use this company. Shameful way to run a business.

Don’t reply to messages, have moved premises so bailiffs cannot collect on court order. Scam company do not use!

I am definately not the same customer as 'save the amazon' and no family members have left a review only me - I look forward to recieving the rest of the refund (been promised several times) fingers crossed it happens this time!

A scam of a company they took my money never delivered the engine
Excuse after excuse they used everything from death in the family to the cat died to gods knows what
I took them to court they were ordered to pay but they are an expert scammers they told the court we can only afford £500 the court accepted their excuse but they had no intention of paying the rest which means taking anther court action
I’m sure next time around they will tell the judge they can only afford 20 pence a week SO THEY KNOW THE LAW AND CAN MANIPULATE IT

I ordered an engine from 3engines and paid deposit through PayPal before being contacted by Engines2you to pay the remaining amount. I cleared the remaining amount but then was contacted by Engines2you to pay more as apparently I did not pay for the full engine. The ending then took a week longer than expected to come. When it arrived, my mechanic inspected it and it was clearly faulty. The turbo had excessive play and many things were missing including looms, wires and bolts. The engine was also not turning over properly. Finally, the VIN for the engines are scratched, pointing to the sale of potentially stolen goods. I informed Engines2you and his communication was extremely poor. Eventually he agreed to return the engine. However, it has been over 3 weeks, I have messaged him 20+ times, called him 50+ times and he has not responded. He is meant to arrange pickup for the engine and he still has not done it. This individual is running a scam operation whereby they entice people through 3engines and seem legit by offering "3 months warranty" but in reality they will sell you engines that are not fit for purpose and then stopped responding. I have submitted this to trading standards and will be taking this to court. I will also be reporting this individual to action fraud so that more people are not scammed. Please save your money and stay far away from this company.

The mechanic fitting the engine told me it’s one of the cleanest, best built engines he’s ever seen

12 months later and still waiting for my engine to be completed and my van returned. Same review as 2 below, communication still sporadic, excuses still ongoing. Frustrating to read that other customers have had a quick responses and resolution. Also questionable that good reviews start appearing after negative feedback.

I orderd a polo engine for my daughters car it arived wen he said we put engine in runs like new and low miles defently would use a gain 100 percent

We had a great experience with this company. Our car needed a new engine and other shops told us that we'd have to wait till the end of the month. These guys, after hearing the situation, stepped up and fixed our car that same weekend. They worked on Saturday and Sunday night (which they don't usually do) to fix the car up quickly for us. This meant loads to us. The entire team was so kind and kept us updated throughout the process. The car is running great right now and we're so grateful for their hard work .
I will strongly recommend them to friends and family.

So we ordered an engine in feb of 2025, after loads of whatsapp messages not being replied to it finally turned up on 8th may 2025, however it was damaged in transit, so i messaged on whatsapp and sent photos of the damage, the only 3 replies i had was to say lewis was out of the country and they would try get a solution for us. Which never happened. I gave up chasing and calling in the end. We ended up having to spend £600 to replace the damaged parts. Absolutley gutting as the first 2 engines we had of them proir there was no issue, after our last experience i wouldnt recommend at all.

This is a rogue trader. Beware.
This is the second company he is using to scum people.
He will first get the car and then ask for payment upfront without doing any work.
He abandoned my car on the street. It was recovered by police action and I was asked to pay for recovery and storage fees

Ordered a cpga 1.2 3cyl engine from these guys as mine blew up they managed to get it delivered next day with no problems . Top quality service and fast replys

Bought an engine from Lewis back in 2025 march The engine didn’t last 2 minutes . Still awaiting a refund from this thief

Paid £996 for the engine.The engine has not been delivered.I asked for refund and it's looks they want run away with my money.Starting legal action.Do not use this company.
Confirmed date was 5th January and I canceled on 8th January after not replied my messages.No exuces.I lost extra money,because my has not been fixed like planned

We ordered and paid £3337.80 for an engine replacement on one of our vehicles. The supplier was paid in full in May of 2025. As of January 2026 we are still without a refund or without the vehicle repaired. Engines2you have ignored all contact for the past 3 months. They have taken the money without fitting the engine and the vehicle is still with them having not been repaired. Having been patient with both the supplier over the past 10 months we have no further option but to report the matter further and go through small claims court to try and recoup the funds. Avoid using this platform at all costs.

Took my money £4500 now no delivery will not answer phones ever had to employ debt collection company to sort this AVOID this scammer order promised 19 nov 25 had nothing from them won’t even talk or email nothing SCAM SCAM SCAM DO not send them any payments BALIFFS are ON THERE WAY
