What a utter load of dire rubbish..slices fell apart when extracting from box and wrapping..The base of the cheesecake was so thin & pathetic it collapsed when taking out to serve..Yet again it proves that we cannot make anything worthwhile in this country of ours...apart from higher tax rises...YUK

Just received my Christmas order, perfect cheesecake packaged with care. Will definitely be enjoyed by me and my guests. I have ordered from these guys many times and am always impressed with the quality products and excellent customer service. I'll definitely be back for more 😋

Ordered a cheesecake, which according to the company would be delivered within 24 hours. The item was not delivered and they promised a full refund, but advised this could take up to 10 working days. No refund received and they have responded to my email regarding this. Certainly a company to avoid if having perishable items delivered

Truly delicious

I've always loved these cheesecakes, especially the salted caramel ones. Have bought lots over the years. Had one just now and gagged as there was a hair in the cheesecake! Disgusting. Feel sick. Threw it away. Don't want to have one again.

1.5 stars as they removed the best flavors, and terrible customer service. They used to do a great carrot cake cheesecake as well as mango passionate, not to mention some decent cakes but lately they’ve lost their way. Their customer service sucks - unsurprising seeing as they’re based in London so rudeness and self importance goes with the territory. I ordered something and the day it arrived they had an offer on the same product. When I asked them to honor the new price, they came up with “if you buy something at a store and the offer changes you don’t get the new price.” When I advised Sherlock of the fact that I can rebuy and return at a supermarket, I got crickets as a response.

If you’re desperate to try these, get a booker membership where these are sold at £17 instead of the inflated £40odd. Alternatively avoid them altogether to save yourself aggravation.

Received my purchase of biscoff cheesecake today from Tescco shop on line Durham extra.very sad to see from date on box purchase was 8.months out of date

I buy these regularly and have done for a few years. I know you can also buy them from Ocado but I prefer buying them direct. I especially love the mini cheesecake and cupcake boxes and love having them in my freezer to eat whenever I fancy one. I have bought the large size ones too, but don't like being restricted to one type and they take up a lot of room in the freezer, if I'm forced, and I am, to buy multiple large cakes because I can't decide which one I want the most.

They always arrive fast, well packaged, and the larger ones are also pre sliced so you don't have to risk stabbing yourself trying to get yourself a single slice straight from the freezer. Very handy.

Was given a £50 voucher for the English Cheesecake company and was so excited to think what I could purchase with that kind of money - The result? One sorry looking cheesecake no bigger than a large cheesecake you would find in Tesco that serves 6 people for £6... The price was £43 and surprise surprise they give you no change so the other £7 is largely wasted unless you want to purchase a second cheesecake at a further £43! Absolutely shocking. The cheesecake itself was quite bland and boring, I noticed very little difference to a frozen cheesecake you would purchase in a supermarket. Never again..

This is my favourite cheesecake, i get one every week in the weekly shop, its probably the one thing we "splurge" on. Keep up the good cheesecaking

Order a lemon cheesecake for a 50th birthday present was ment to come with white chocolate disc saying happy 50th birthday on it .Didn't arrive.Thanks for that no fully refund offerd for a ruined birthday present

Bought some of this from Iceland for £4 when premium brands cost £5. Should’ve paid the extra quid. This is rock hard and powdery. Not the affordable luxury I was looking for.

All that sugar and no flavour. Spend more tp get something truly delicious. Not this pot of blandness.

They started out good but now have gone down the rip the customer off route by now having a biscuit base that's doubled in thickness and cutting back on the cheese topping by at least 50%, they should be called the English biscuit base with a smear of toppings company.

I got a cake on the offer where it was promised I will get a brownie cake to try. However I got a lemon cake instead. How on Earth a lemon cake relates to chocolate?
The quality of these cakes used to be better, the honeycomb one used to have round chocolates not this cheap messy stuff. The cheese part of these cakes are too soft after defrosting, not presentable in any way. The lemon one is so sour, it has a lots of sugar. Most of the cakes could taste better with less sugar.

£3.75 for two slices of bland, synthetic tasting muck! Ate half of one slice, in the bin with the rest. Low effort product in fancy packaging.

Our baked cheesecake arrived in a polystyrene parcel by DPD that was very damaged - with the personalisation disc completely broken. There was no fragile tape or even 'this way up' or anything on the packaging. And the package had been left on it's side!

I should have looked at these reviews and realised that so many 1* reviews means this company are not at all reliable. I ordered a personalised cheesecake for a surprise party for my son's 30th birthday (he loves cheesecake rather than cake) I thought it was pricey but accepted that it was for a special occasion so it would be worth it. I ordered the Cookie Dough/White choc combo and requested a delivery date which was all accepted. Received a confirmation email and subsequent emails from DPD telling me that they were awaiting my order. The day BEFORE delivery was due I received an email saying the Cookie Dough was out of stock and how did they want me to proceed! In the same afternoon yet another email came from DPD saying yet again, that they were awaiting the cake for delivery. Unfortunately I did not see the email about the Cookie dough until Friday afternoon whilst waiting in ALL day for the delivery. To say I was angry and disappointed was an understatement. I left 2 phone messages and emailed back but didn't hear from them until today where I have received an apology and been told that I can have a refund but it will take 10 working days! What a joke. Very unprofessional and poor service. I strongly recommend people stay away from this company. I await my refund of £58.50... Fortunately Costco came to the rescue with a large caramel cheesecake at £13.

Quite possibly the worst cheesecake I’ve ever had. Described as luxury vanilla cheesecake with lotus biscoff on a crunchy biscuit base. There was nothing luxurious or crunchy about it; it was soft, soggy and hugely disappointing. Purchased from Waitrose in a pack of 2, will walk past them next time!
