Environet was excellent in removing three types of bamboo from our garden. Staff were respectful and professional, whilst being very approachable, keeping us up to date as the work progressed. The team worked hard. All three displayed knowledge and skill and have left our garden looking much better than we expected, ready for landscaping. So far there has been no regrowth and we are reassured that return monitoring visits are planned. Excellent service.

Excellent service, great communication. We needed bamboo removing as part of a conveyancing process - it was unexpected therefore a very stressful time. However the team at Enviroment were extremely helpful and compassionate. They ensured our removal wasnt delayed and the correspondance was extremely prompt when answering our queries and sending though documentation. Would highly recommend.

The office and on-site team communicated effectively. Nathan and Callum were excellent on-site, and although the task took slightly longer than anticipated, I was comfortable leaving them to wrap up the project the following morning. Had 2 nine year old bamboo plants removed as they had gone into my neighbour’s garden and into a communal parking area, all done in two days, fence panels put back, equipment and skip gone the following day.. no issues, great job, would highly recommend.

What a refreshing, helpful company. Called with an issue of JKW, and Rachel did her best to alleviate my worries. Suggested a solution and said she would call me back after having checked some of the finer details. Yes, the lady did call me back with more information.

I chose this company to investigate my knotweed problem as they were both local and seemingly a solid trustworthy company, judging by their website.

I booked a survey, which was charged at £400, and included a report. This seemed excessive, but as I had little knowledge of dealing with such companies, assumed it would involve a certain amount of inspection and investigation by a specialist. In fact, I messaged the company about this point and was reassured that this was the case.

However, the actual visit proved otherwise! The rep was pleasant and knowledgeable, but did little more than inspect the plant, do a visual of the garden to check for possible further outbreaks, take a few photos and record some measurements to see if our gates were wide enough for a mini digger. Hopefully, the promised report would be more revealing....

Unfortunately, when it arrived, it contained few details of our situation, it was merely a collection of cut and pasted quotes for different types of treatment. None specific to my situation and no outline plan or scheme of work was contained. And the sum of £1500-£2000 for a residential outbreak mentioned on the website guide had ballooned to a massive £6000 plus annual inspection fees! All this for a solitary small bush well clear of any buildings.

On reflection, this just seems like a high level scam on the lines of all those damp proof/dry rot treatments that were oversold in the '70s. I have, in effect, paid Environet UK £400 for the privilege of having a generic quote for some work. Amazing!

Alistair is amazing. He came out within a few days of me enquiring about a survey. I was so anxious about possible Japanese Knotweed at a new-build I want to buy. My mind is set at ease. The 5 year warranty is comforting. Thank you, Alistair for giving me the 'all clear' on your visit & preparing your report within hours of visiting. I really appreciate it.

The problem was dealt with on the day specified although he had to work long after he should have finished for the day.

We had an area of bamboo travelling under the garden wall from next door.
As next door were not cooperative we decided to bite the bullet and have an area of the patio dug-up, roots removed and a root barrier installed.
Environet we fast and efficient in turning up to inspect, write a report and a quotation.
They were also good in the execution as I think the patio lifting was harder than anticipated.
Good workmen and company.
We'll see in a few years if any growth comes back. Next time its an insurance claim and legal impact on next door neighbour.

I used Environet for guidance and support after I found knotweed in a recently purchased property. They were swift, polite and very helpful. They performed partial dig out and installed a weed barrier around the affected area.
I had small regrowth which I reported and swiftly a member of the team would come out and remove any root and growth.
I would highly recommend this company and if I ever needed similar work in the future this is who I would use. Just moved out of the property affected and transferring the guarantee was so quick and easy. Matthew day especially was always supportive throughout the whole process and nothing was ever too much effort.

Very well organised team of people who got on with the job very efficiently. The equipment arrived in time for the team to use. A large area of bamboo was removed in a week. Fortunately the weather was on their side. The area was left tidy and great care was taken of the established garden around it.

Polite, workman like, respectful of my garden. Would definitely recommend them.
