Descargar cualquier cosa es de pago, y encima no Te lo dicen desdeel principio

SCRIBD: Publicité mésongère que vous fait perdre du temps: ils vous promettent 1 (un) document gratuit téléchargeable sur le site si vous fournissez 5 (cinq) documents en retour. C’est bien ce que j’ai fait, mes documents figurent bien avoir été télécharges sur le site, mais impossible de récupérer le mien. Il me disse que je dois payer l’abonnement !!!!Depuis des échangez par email (doit être IA) qui n’aboutissent à aucune solution. DONC, A EVITER !!! GRATUIT c’est PAYANT. Publicité mensongère !!!! J’ai essayé de voir si le site était correcte pour probablement m’abonner après et pouvoir consulter des autres documents, mais avec cette pratique malhonnête eux perdent de possibles clients

Questionable billing practices:
They don't send emails, warning about charging montly fees, invoces, nothing. They want to be not noticed, even if the credit card have no money they only send email after tring 10 times to charge. Please always use a web credit card without planfond for trial proposes.

Copyright Thieves, don't reward them for their criminality. They host illegally uploaded copies of copyright material and share the proceeds from their subscribers with these people instead of paying the people that created the original content. A deplorable, snide, faceless and shameful company.

First of all, the advertised FREE one month trial is a lie. You are told you will have ad-free previews of books, and be able to download for a month. So you give them your personal and financial information. Then they tell you actually, you only get 3 free downloads, oops. But that is also a lie, it doesnt let you download more than 2 documents before your pay the whole subscription fee. After you sign up for a free trial to supposedly get an ad-free preview of the books, adverts are still appearing every couple of pages, and you must wait for ages to be allowed to skip an ad. This makes the site impossible to use. So, no ad-free views, no downloads. This is Scam number 1.
After that, you decide, okay maybe I will pay and try the service. You pay the subscription fee. While you search for PDF books, in turns out that most things shown on Scribd are audiobooks from Everand (I did not go to Everand, it is probably as problematic as Scribd and does not include the titles it advertises). So, as you search for hours, you realise that they actually have hardly anything useful. Most documents and "books" are summaries, portions, couple of pages, someone's random comments on the book, or they have horrible unreadable quality. You try to find something usable among hundreds of useless random documents. No real readable good quality books on Scribd then. This is Scam number 2.
After battling with all this and finally accepting the sunk cost, I decided to cancel. After having been unsuccessful at cancelling my subscription on their website, I had to contact my payment provider and cancel it through them. Okay, but they took the next month's payment anyway. This was annoying, I thought, maybe it is my mistake, I should have cancelled WAY before the deadline to give it time to be processed. So I thought alright, I will try to use it for another month then, since my request to have the payment refunded was rejected. And this is where they go full crazy. If you dare to cancel through your bank, and not accept your fate, they actually, seriously, literally ban your e-mail address from accessing the saved titles, your account information and everything else, leaving you unable to do anything at all. You cannot log back in. Seriously. They ban you from the website. So, you are stuck having paid for yet another month, and unable to access the website. And this is scam number 3.
Oh and don't forget, you cannot contact them! There is no contact option. You cannot complain, you cannot get support. Faceless company.
If you still aren't convinced, do go read the "Dark side of Scribd" for other unethical and ridiculous things they do. Just stay away. It is not worth the stress.

First they want you to log in, then they want money

I thought l had cancelled. They keep taking your money. Change your card to stop payments.

Unsubscribed in a complicated manner (a lot of steps to unsubscribe). They kept my credit card information in a total illegal way, and made an authorization transaction without any reason, although the subscription was cancelled.

This led to the credit card company blocking my card, and now I have to wait for another card. There is no way of removing the credit card information. Don't give your credit card information to this company, you will have problems!

Son horribles, son ladrones me roban mensualmente, envio correos contestan que no tengo cuenta, la cuenta que tenia ya no existe según ellos, pero el cobro a mi tarjeta si ladrones horribles, corto con su sistema

Un pésimo sistema de contacto para desactivar una suscripción que nunca activé. No hay manera de poder entrar a la cuenta, ni con el nombre de usuario ni con el password, los emails no llegan, los tickets no se contestan. Más de 260€ he pagado a esta empresa desde 2020, sin poder desactivar la suscripción. Finalmente he tenido que cancelar la tarjeta. Menuda estafa!

It's a SCAM!
They promised to inform me before extending my test subscription with a paid one, but never sent that email. Thus they simply charged me for a full subscription without further note.
I sent a complaint immediately to their support. They never answered.

I love scribed I'm not gonna lie but they are troublesome, if you like a book and you listen to the series. Other books will be blocked from that author for a week a month I don't know what determines it. Other than that very good app.
