I used Symbolab for a differential equations class back in 2019. It was so good that I paid for it.

Now, 6 years later, it's worse. I've lost count of the times I had to:

- Refresh a page, clear all the garbage in the URL, and then input the same equation again, since it wouldn’t solve.

- Break down a problem into smaller steps because it’s not capable of solving a large equation for W, even though it’s completely capable of solving the same equation for W once some steps are done.

- Switch letters because, for some reason, “X” and “x” may be the difference between “solvable” and “not solvable.”

- And now, having to find a way to do what I’ve been doing this whole afternoon because it decided my “, solve for v” input is not valid anymore..

Seriously, if the only reason to use AI is to cut costs, then don’t.

This app has assisted me within completing my complicated math homework, such as algebra, simplifying and expanding brackets and more. The app is accurate and easy to function, no bugs or complicated instructions, just pure straight forward! However, despite my appealing experience, there are many complaints regarding subscription and customer service, I can not point out any of these issues, as I have not experienced this myself, but others agree with each over. Overall, I leave this as a recommended website for everyone to try out, this app has also gone down in my favourite tab, amazing website!

They charged me the cost of an annual subscription for months, and won't lift a finger to remedy this. After seeing other reviews, I now realize this is a pattern of behavior for Symbolab. Despite dozens of attempts to communicate with support, they refuse to even reply. Because of their willingness to steal from customers, I advise anyone considering this service, in the strongest terms possible, to look elsewhere.

They're the most successful con artists in the education industry. They charge people over forty dollars monthly while marketing it as an annual subscription, then ignore any attempts at reaching out to their customer service. Avoid! I've contacted them numerous times and they've refused to assist

Overall, it's great for lots of my Accelerated math as a sixth grader when I'm not that smart. best for no mental break downs during any hard math

This resource is great for most algebra equations I have done. It provides an accurate answer for most equations and shows how they got there, but not fully. In other words, they show the steps, but you must pay to get an explanation of those steps essentially. Also, some answers may come out a bit funky, but with a little background knowledge, you should be able to put the pieces together. So this website is good if you are stumped on a math homework question, but I wouldn't rely on it completely for answers. (It would help if you know whatever Math problem you are doing.)
