The creative writing course :
Thursday evening lady tutor :
Too early to say how good she is .
But I feel so far is not as positive as the Monday the gentleman tutor .
She spend 10 mins for internet connection issue
Then another 10 mins to do registration for 16 kids ! Yes 16 kids !!!
Groups lesson of 16 Kids . She doesn’t want to do her registration in break time . But take up all lesson time . Each kid introduce themselves about name and whic year group and hobby .
Why ?
Then she lets kids 1 by 1 read out loud the material para by para !!!!
Then she lets kids 1 by 1 do activities and read out loud answers .

Sorry my feeling is she is inexperienced and totally just AIm to kill time ! Yes kill the 90 MIns time .
My kid is totally not engagaed with her .
And sorry to say they charge Termly fee with direct debit . So I can’t now even quit month by month alike Normal tution as this is term by term .

My daughter has attend creative writing online course; They have done really good job. especially homework reviews were very detailed and encouragin the child. Some times the review was longer than the homework.

We bought some exam papers; I think the papers are the best part of Examberry.

My daughter went to class as well. I can say year 5 classes and homework are fine (review of the monthly exams are very basic, they should be detailed). Surprasingly beginning of year 6 one was very dissapointed. The books - papers were very easy and very basic, especially if you compare with mock exams. (waste of money).

The homework, books, and mock exam papers were realy well prepared. (except years 6 course and the materials).

I think they should improve communication with parents about the child level, impromevent etc. and more detailed reports about the child. (Creative writing is a good positive example).

My daughter got private lessons and we have done 2.5 years work with her 5 days, (40-45 min a day) a week. She pass all the exams. Tiffin Girl, Nonsuch and 6 private schools.

She has done all the Examberry mock exams papers and attend the real Tiffin girls mocks on a class as well (They were good).

At the end I Examberry does a good job and there are some points to be improved.

My daughter attended Examberrys Year 4 & 5 weekly tuition courses. She found her tutor Laura to be excellent, patient and kind. The format of comprehensive classroom teaching, with homework (to embed what’s being taught) and online tests is great for helping those who take a little longer to learn new topics. Towards the end of the year 5 course, I thought the in class weekly tests were great for gearing up and preparing the children for the 11+ format and what lay ahead. I would say Examberry provide alot of resources, you won’t need to purchase any additional things. My daughter was successful in getting into both of her independent schools and is very pleased to be going to SHS. Thank you Examberry!

My daughter attended weekly face-to-face classes during Year 5, as well as online classes from September to December in Year 6.

As a parent, with hindsight I think the greatest benefits were the opportunity to learn from a teacher who sometimes explained things in a different way, providing a different perspective to problem solving. This in addition to the weekly 'homework', but with the online support for revision, was second to none.

In terms of school outcomes she had offers from every school she applied to. Where relevant they included an academic scholarships, which is an indicator of her hard work and ability, and also attributable to the support and materials gained from Examberry.

This was a big commitment, both in terms of time (for our daughter, and also for us as parents), and money. Having gone through it all now, we feel like it was worth the sacrifice.

Thanks much for over 2+ years support from the tutors and the team of Examberry!! My girl joined Examberry for the 11+ preparation course since Year 4, and we found their course materials and mock exam paper was very systematic and useful for train up my daughter to have well prepare on her 11+ exam.

Examberry was a great help for my sons! The review materials are really useful and relevant! The teachers are all friendly! My sons passed all the stage 2 exams and received offer from our preferred school. Thanks Examberry!

James tutored our child from the beginning of year 5, and also for an intensive session before the 11+ exams in Year 6. He was great and really developed confidence whilst at the same time making the learning enjoyable and stress-free. The Examberry method and materials are so good, comprehensive and completely prepared us for the 11+ exams. We got into our 3 first choice schools (eventually settling on Surbiton). If I had to say one thing that could be improved, the Grammar School exams had more questions than we expected, 90 instead of 60-70, so the timing that we had prepared for was a little off. Be prepared for 90 questions in 50 minutes.

I appreciate that Examberry helped my daughter get into her first choice, and I have decided to have my younger son start 11+ prep with Examberry.

Examberry have been fantastic throughout, my son started and joined in Year 5 for his eleven plus journey (some said too late) but with Examberry’s tutoring (had great tutor Gabby) and with his own efforts he passed both Tiffins and Sutton exams and got into our first choice at Wilson’s School. He enjoyed Examberry’s structure, teaching, books etc, it is intense at times but this gives the child the extra push they need and always kept him motivated.

We used the Examberry physical mocks + downloadable mock papers for our child's 11+ prep and practice focussing on our first choice grammar school. The papers were of outstanding standard and the physical mocks were amazing, particularly the 'Stretch' ones, from a learning + experience point of view. Our child got into our 1st preference grammar school thankfully and we highly recommend the Examberry mocks for future aspirants as well.

Thanks to the entire team of Examberry for superb teaching and study materials. The test papers and mocks really helped my son to do well in actual exams.
My son got offers from Tiffin School, Hampton School, RGS Guildford and KGS.

The resources available are amazing, from the weekly classes, the insights emails to the revision material I can't praise Examberry's team enough for all the valuable resources they provided us during year 5 and 6.
We used the online recordings when my daughter couldn't attend the face to face lessons, the content was brilliant and made sure that she wasn't missing out on anything.
The teachers' feedback were very helpful, they always made sure that we were aware of the areas my daughter needed to improve.
My daughter got accepted to 4 prestigious independent schools in London and received two academic scholarship thanks to her performance in the 11+ exam.
She also took on the grammar school test for Slough and got the required score to be able to be considered for a place in year 7.

Thanks to Examberry and Allison (my daughter's teacher), she was able to take on all three stage 2 exams for Henrietta Barnett, Tiffins and SET (Sutton).
She received communication fro SET to say that she passed her 2nd stage exam and waiting for other schools. I really would like to thank Allison for supporting my daughter throughout this journey. I highly recommend to consider Examberry. Many great resources and well directed guidance with care to ensure best preparation.

Sadly after a month of my son attending I have had to make the decision to cancel the 11 plus programme with Examberry. It’s all fancy branding and booklets/resources and nothing much else. There were some issues with first direct debit being set up (made a card payment for that month a day late as a result) and I got hounded by their aggressive manner and accused of not making payment not only on the phone but when dropping my son off at the class the tutor also even though by this point is was paid. I think they may be able to diversify into debt collection over the way I was made to feel. No one is contactable at offices to confirm my payment was made as shut at 4.30pm and classes start at 5pm - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! More engagement with the staff over a day late payment rather than actually teaching my son.

In response to your reply the fact you guys contacted me several times - it was during a half term school break when I was travelling (surely you could take that into consideration!) and also the manner in which was dealt with was unprofessional. My son’s tuition class was 5/11 and my payment was made 6/11 - one day late.

I am absolutely thrilled with the results my son, Chidubem, achieved in his 11+ exams, and I owe much of his success to the outstanding support he received from Examberry. With your expert guidance and tailored approach, Chidubem passed the Slough Consortium exam with 89%, the Buckingham exam with 92%, and the Lincolnshire Consortium Grammar School exam with a fantastic 96%.

In addition to these impressive results, he also secured an academic scholarship for an Independent Grammar School exam in Staffordshire! These incredible achievements would not have been possible without the combined effort of Examberry's dedicated tutors and Chidubem’s own hard work.

Really aggressive sale and potential special need discmination attitude on the way already .

Then A woman called me on Friday to announce to me that head woman will call me on Monday when she is back from holiday. To let me be mentally prepare for her over the weekend ?
She interrupting all the time and over talk me all the time. Abrupt .

Money talk firstly :
She : no trial . Paid not paid .
Must pay £100 reg fee .
1 month notice .
Will lose £100 if decide to drop out .

Discrimination talk :
Our head will want to find out all kid special need symptoms whether KID WILL BE NEGATIVE OR CAUSE NEGATIVE INPACT TO OTHER KIDS .

Regardless their “ sincere “ apology below . They sent me email saying sorry you could not get in .

Not that I want to get in . As their course is 2 hours long . While other more sensible Tution centres run 45 mins course than a 2 hours marathon course for age 6/7/8/9 kids .

They are neither transparent with their tutors profile .you never know they have ever been teachers in school or just a tutor without any school experience and latest PGCE training. And other up to date curriculum training .

My son started in Year 4 with Examberry and they have been fantastic from the very start. All materials are supplied, class workbooks, homework books, reading books, many past paper samples, even vocabulary flashcards and dictionary! The teachers are experienced and engaging, we would like to give special thanks to David and Gabby.
My son is now looking forward to starting Tiffin boys in September 2024!

We highly recommend Examberry as they have a comprehensive programme for the 11+ entrance exams. Our daughter had a delightful and experienced tutor, and the Examberry admin team are very committed and attentive. Our daughter got into Kingston Grammar School and Tiffin Girls School.

With the support of Examberry tuitions, my son has secured a place at Tiffin Boys School, to start in Sept 2024. The whole journey with Examberry has been very rewarding. They have a set and well-planned curriculum of teaching. They are very organised in providing books and materials before each term, teaching in lessons, assigning home work tasks and online tests each week. They provide extra home work activities for half term and term breaks which is very helpful in extra revisions. They provide valuable feedback on how the child is doing in every topic and tips on how they can improvise. Term tests also give a picture of where the child stands as compared to others in their batch. They have loads of books and materials that can be bought online for practice. Some of their books targeted for specific schools are very useful for practicing the exam format for those schools. The wide range of materials they provide are more than sufficient to prep for any school's entrance exam. The teachers were amazing, very helpful and taught lessons in a very organised and well-structured manner. They were always prompt in responding to our emails which is highly appreciated. The mock exams they conduct are extremely helpful as the child gets to experience an actual test environment. Thanks to the Examberry staff (special mention here for Michelle who has been an amazing teacher), we were able to achieve our ultimate goal of gaining a place at Tiffin school. Very pleased with the overall one-year experience we had with them.
