I chose Excelon Learning for my Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare because I needed something that could fit around my unpredictable shift patterns. The course material is exceptionally well-structured and very relevant to modern residential care standards. The online portal is easy to navigate, and the fact that it's self-paced took a lot of the stress away. It’s hard work, but knowing I have the flexibility alongside great resources makes it entirely manageable

I was quite hesitant about returning to study after a long break, so I called Excelon Learning to inquire about their Level 3 qualifications. The admissions advisor I spoke with was absolutely fantastic. They walked me through the entire procedure and helped me understand how the assessments work without giving me a hard sales pitch. I have successfully completed my Level 3 Residential Care course and had a really positive experience throughout my learning journey. The course was well delivered, and I felt supported every step of the way. I'm now enrolling in the Assessor Qualification and hope to have the same excellent experience.

I recently enrolled onto the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner course after speaking with Ryan. He was very supportive, answered every question thoroughly, and made the whole process feel simple and professional.

Completing the IQA course was a great experience thanks to Hannah. She explained everything clearly, provided excellent guidance, and made the whole learning process enjoyable and easy to follow.

I just completed the Level 3 AET course and overall I’m really glad I signed up for it with Excelon.

As I work full-time I was a bit worried about fitting studying around work and family commitments, but I must say the flexibility and structure of the course made that much easier than I expected. Being able to work through the units in my own time took a lot of the pressure off.

I originally took the course because I’ve been thinking about moving into more of a training role at work, and it gave me a much clearer idea of what teaching actually involves as I found the parts on understanding different learners very helpful; they just felt practical and relevant, not just theory.
However, at the start, the instructions seemed a little unclear, so I spent a bit of time second-guessing whether I was on the right track. Once I got going and talked to my tutor, it became much easier, and whenever I did ask for help the tutor was supportive.

Overall, it was a positive experience and it’s definitely helped build my confidence. I’d recommend it to anyone who like me, is trying to fit studying around a busy schedule.

I recently completed the Level 3 Award in Education and Training course with Excelon, and had a really positive experience with them.

Honestly, I was a bit nervous before starting because it had been a while since I had done any formal studying, but the course was laid out in a manner that was very understandable especially with the sequential learning. Also, the materials were clear, and I actually preferred that as I could work through them at my own without a timeline looming over my head.

The part I found most useful was the micro-teach and how it helped me in planning sessions properly. My tutor was great and I had hands on help especially with arranging the microteach delivery since I did it with their pre-arranged live session option.

The reason I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5 is that there were a couple of points where I would have appreciated a bit more detailed and prompt guidance on the assignments, especially at the start. Feedback was indeed helpful, but sometimes I would have liked it a little sooner especially around the weekends.

Overall, I’m glad with my choice. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about getting into a teacher or early years training as they have a diverse range on their website.
