I have been relying on Expat's tax services for the past several years and have never been disappointed. Communication is excellent at every step of the way, and my tax return is always prepared in a timely manner. This year, I was especially impressed with the new platform, which allows you to ask questions (and receive answers) immediately through chat while completing the questionnaire.

I used Expat Tax Online for a Streamlined Foreign Offshore Procedures filing after not having filed U.S. taxes for decades, and the experience exceeded my expectations.

As a U.S. citizen living in South Korea, my situation involved foreign earned income, FBARs, Social Security, and Korean pension income, so I needed a firm that truly understood expat-specific issues. They handled multiple years of returns along with all required FBAR filings as part of the Streamlined submission, and everything was organized clearly and professionally.

What stood out most was how well they guided me through the process. The instructions were precise (including how to properly label and mail the Streamlined package), and they were consistently responsive whenever I had questions. At no point did I feel lost, despite the complexity.

The pricing was very reasonable given the amount of work involved, with no surprise add-ons. After using another online tax service the previous 2 years, I wasn’t happy with the service I received. I found Expat tax online to be a far better experience for a lot less money. Having to file a US return every year is a drag and Expat tax made it easy. Andrea was extremely responsive to any queries I had, and helped me through the process from start to finish. Honestly, one of the best service providers for tax preparation I’ve ever come across. They’ve updated their process this past year, I thought last year‘s updates were amazing and this year‘s updates are even better and make the process that much more straightforward.
