Exterior Building Solutions Reviews

From Brian giving me a quote to the job being complete, it was perfect. They fitted the job in around a time that suited me. Ryan and Sean have just finished and made my roof look like new (maybe better than it was when it was new) and cleaned up everything.
Very nice guys and answered any questions I had. Will be recommending this company to everyone!

Excellent job of cleaning , repointing, replacing 2 slates and coating the roof by Ross.
Would have been completed but 2 days of adverse weather conditions held things up.

Ross and Kerr who cleaned and treated our roof then coated it with the weather seal paint.
Very professional from start to finish . Explained everything they were doing took very good care of our property and cleaned everything up afterwards.
Most importantly an excellent job done.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you for the professionalism it goes a long way.

Just had our roof cleaned and recoated by EBS. They managed to get us an earlier start date than expected. Kudos to John and Liam who were brilliant, turned up bang on time and kept us informed of what they were doing at every stage. They covered the work area and cleaned up afterwards leaving the place spotless. Delighted with the result. Highly recommended.

Ross and his team did a great job and my roof now looks brand new. He was a pleasure to work with.

I would have left a 5 star review had the start date and regular communications been better handled. 5 star for the work done. 4.5 for the wider team.

Ross and kerr just finished my roof and the finish is excellent. Was kept informed about progress and slight delay due to weather. Guys covered everything to protect not only my property but also neighbours. Cleaned up after themselves including washing windows. Turned up on time were very professional and likeable answering any question i had. Would recommend these guys to anyone.

Just had our roof cleaned, treated and coated in Terracotta by Sean and Ryan. The process was very professional from start to finish. Our property was protected during the job and everything was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this company

Just had my roof completed by Liam and John. Excellent service. Professional from outset.Friendly staff. Arrived promptly and completed job within timescales. Surrounding areas left clean and tidy.
I would highly recommend this company.

Just had my roof cleaned and sealed by Exterior Building Solutions and am delighted to say they did a brilliant job! Very hard working, capable and friendly team who made sure everything was done to perfection! Cleaned up everything afterwards too! Would give them 5 stars from beginning to end!

From first contact we were put at ease, then James and his team came on site , put sheeting down before cleaning down full house tiles. They came back a few days later with better weather and put 2 layers of coating on .Neighbours commented on cleanliness and quality of work. I wholeheartedly agree and would recommend EBS services to family and friends as they are friendly, genuine and trustworthy. James kept us well informed and did a great job .Well done everyone.

Just had roofing cleaned and coated in terracotta by the 2 lads from EBS. Fantastic work completed by John and Liam. All mess cleaned up afterwards that apart from the stunning roof, you'd never know they had been!
Very professional service starting with Stevie Campbell and all the ladies spoken to on the phone.
Highly recommend this friendly company.

What a transformation for our house, the guys worked non stop in the really sunny conditions and did a fantastic job.

Right from the start when Brian gave us a quote this company has been excellent. Liam and John came early and kept us in the loop about what they were doing and worked nonstop till the job was finished. They done a terrific job and I am very pleased with finished roof and the way they tidied up everything. I would certainly recommend EBS to anyone.

My 40 year old roof was looking a bit jaded covered with moss & lichen. Liam & John worked miracles restoring it as if it were brand new. These guys have a great work ethic and great camaraderie working as a team - no hanging about straight on with the job with no breaks. They are true professionals and a credit to their trade keeping you fully informed at every stage of the process. They go to great pains to tidy up in what is a really messy process and make sure everything is back in place when they finish. I would have no hesitation in recommending EBS for any exterior work needed on your house - you will not be disappointed and I know these guys will always provide the highest of standards. I am well chuffed with the finished product.

The communication was very good and James and Scott were polite, did a thorough job, making all necessary repairs to our roof, and cleaning it thoroughly and applying two protective coats. They cleaned up well after them and even made sure our neighbours were happy.

From when Craig knocked on our door, to Ross who surveyed our property and explained the procedure clearly and then to James and Scott who carried out the work very efficiently and left our home looking transformed. All the team were very pleasant, polite, efficient and professional. We are very delighted with the new look of our home.

Fantastic service - from initial contact, the surveyor visit and quotation from Steven, to the work carried out by Liam and his colleague. Our roof had an extreme buildup of lichen and moss, which in some areas was causing the concrete tiles to buckle and separate. After deep cleaning, repairs, and application of the anthracite grey protective coating, the roof looks in brilliant condition now. Couldn’t be happier with the transformation! The guys worked almost nonstop too, arriving before 8am and finishing just before 5pm, only after they’d tidied the area and moved planters and garden furniture back into position. The team are courteous, professional and the standard of work is impeccable - they even went the extra mile to remove moss that had built up at the house foundations behind the wheelie bins.

Liam and John arrived on time, they were very polite and kept me informed on the process of cleaning and coating my roof which now looks brilliant.
I was particularly impressed with the way they tidied up after doing the work.
On my experience I would recommend EBS to anyone wanting quality work.

Excellent service from the Hamilton based guys. Turned up when they said they would, worked constantly and cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't be more delighted with their performance.

No problems with the staff I dealt with - Craig called at the house, Ross carried out the survey and ?Jason resealed the roof. All were very professional, informative and helpful.
I didn't expect the work to be done so quickly and had arranged to be out with my daughter and grand-daughter for a few hours that afternoon (11/04/2025). I checked with Jason that this was ok, and as I was paying by BACS it was no problem and they were away by the time I got home.
Very pleased with the work on the roof, looks like new. Not as pleased with the clean up though. All the windows were very dirty and a lot of 'sludge' was left on the shared drive and my neighbour cleaned it up before I got home.
I texted Gordon to say money had been transferred but had a problem with my wall-mounted hose as it was jammed. He was going to get someone to look into it.
I then realised all the windows were dirty and found out my neighbour had to clean the drive and telephoned EBS office about it. Craig and then Ross both dropped in in the next 4 - 5 days, they weren't pleased about it and chased it up for me. It's now 4th May and I've heard nothing from EBS. Even if someone had called to say this can sometimes happen, etc but no feedback at all, despite a 2nd phone call to the office.
So the work was excellent, the clean up was far from it and follow up to complaint was non-existent.
