easy to order and easy to return

I placed 1No. order with FatFace online - this ended up being split into 3No. separate collection trips required to collect the order in full.
Watch out for items being discounted immediately AFTER you've ordered them online at full price!
Before I collected my order in full, ALL of the tops purchased were discounted by £10-£12+ each. That would have made a significant saving to me, but I was not offered a credit, despite already having to return more than once, to collect the order in full. Apparently I could have taken all of the items back, ask for a refund and then purchase identical products again, but only if they have similar in stock in the store (as they were not able to sell me the same item back). However, I had unwrapped 2No. of the 3 collections, so was then unable to return them to be refunded. (And this would have meant a further trip to the store!) I also found a random 'kids' clothing item in one of my parcels, which seemed to have been included by mistake. On querying this, the shop assistant took it. Again, no offer of a credit
as a "thank you" for returning the child's clothing, even though it was known I'd already missed out on multiple discounts.
Perhaps bad timing on my part, but more understanding customer service in store would have seen that a credit against my purchases would have kept me as a customer for the future.

Item ordered still not at store for collection a week later

Have always adored FatFace products. Superb customer service. Super shop staff. Excellent on-line shopping. The Aldeburgh store is my favourite. Always shop there when visiting Suffolk. Latest on-line shop 7th June excellent.

Fatface clothes are good quality and very on trend. Easy to orderline and collect from my local store. The staff are very friendly

I wanted a specific bag for my mobile ‘phone that my local store didn’t have in stock. I ordered it online and it was delivered free of charge to the store within a few days. Excellent service, thank you.

Really helpful customer service both on line and in store . One item in sale wasn't available after ordering so given discount for future item , but on full price , still kind gesture . All items came quick . It’s a pity Fatface don’t do inter store delivery even for stores within county wide , but some do keep an item if you are prepared to go and get . Purchased lovely dress and a ‘purple’ ( burgundy ) faux fur coat . Had to downsize on the coat , but absolutely gorgeous . Very happy customer .

Leather belt arrived on time and fits well . Well made

We visited the local store and my granddaughter tried on a dress in the sale. Alas it was too big and there was not a smaller size in stock. I casually looked on line and realised I could purchase the correct size still in the sale and have delivered locally to save paying delivery so could surprise my granddaughter for her birthday. The only thing that might have made a difference was if the store assistant could have mentioned looking online to see if a smaller size was available in the sale. It was only chance that I looked.

Having previously seen the dress, I ordered on line. It was an easy process and delivery was swift.

While in Aldburgh Suffolk for a short stay I looked in Fatface for some clothes and while there discovered I'd mislaid some expensive sunglasses. As it was a sunny afternoon I didn't want to walk around without any protection so was pleased to see they stocked a good quality pair for under £30 which provided good protection against UVA UVB rays. Staff very helpful and quickly provided a pair that fitted perfectly! Problem solved! Later found I'd left glasses in another store but new ones very effective.

I loved your lilac linen shirt today but was unsure of the size. Staff were really helpful in assisting me make up my mind. Andrea

On Fri 26th May, my husband and myself visited the Aldeburgh branch of Fat Face. I fell in love with the National Forestry Floral Dress, however although the size 14 fitted better, the size 16 was in a very dark navy blue background instead of light navy, which made the colours really stand out. I liked the fit of the 14 but the colour of the 16. The dark haired lady who was called either Sue or Alison was brilliant and very patient with me as I kept trying the dresses on and were there ages being a pain. I eventually decided which one to go with and purchased it, and my husband also bought several items. However, when I got back to our caravan, I realised I had lost the gold necklace and pendant I had been wearing. The next day, with dread I phoned Fat Face and explained that I had lost it. The lovely dark haired lady took my number and a few hours later phoned me to say she had found the necklace and subsequently searched the store until she found the pendant. She went above and beyond to help me. What a wonderful lady and such fabulous service. Quite exceptional and out of the ordinary.
