FUYEZ VITE, Perte de temps.
Cette société est morte, mis à part le parcours du combattant pour que votre fichier audio soit accepter vous attendez des semaines sans voir bouger vos livres. Service client inexistant, d'ailleurs si spotify a racheté findaway c est parce qu'il n y a que des bras casses dans cette societe...

terrible customer support. In fact I wonder whether there is one at all. N

I borrowed an audiobook from my library app Hoopla and ended up with a Findaway Voices recording that indicated Mary Rossman was the narrator. The narration was poor and clearly made by AI. I guessed this when an event that happened in 1849 was read as one thousand eight hundred and forty nine. Findaway Voices needs to make clear which audiobooks are read by humans and which by machines, so listeners can make an informed choice. Will avoid Findaway Voices.

I have been mailing to them as a published narrator/author for 2 WEEKS and zero response. This is just unacceptable and sad.

Don't expect to be paid.

I pulled my audiobook and they deleted it. Fine. When I asked for final payment, they said no, but you'll get it the first quarter of next year. When I asked recently to verify that payment would be coming, they said no, again. Then told me I had to wait until November of 2024. That's over a year from when I asked for payment on an account THEY CLOSED. I know it's not much, but that shouldn't matter on an account THEY CLOSED.

When I emailed them again to remind them they said I'd be paid outstanding royalties this quarter, regardless of the amount, they didn't reply.

Thankfully they are no longer the only ones who distribute audiobooks.

Here is an excerpt from their new terms and conditions for using their platform. Good luck with retaining any intellectual property rights if you agree to these:

"in order for us to provide the Service to you we do need a limited license from you to that User Content. Accordingly, you hereby grant Spotify a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, fully paid, irrevocable, worldwide license to reproduce, make available, perform and display, translate, modify, create derivative works from (such as transcripts of User Content), distribute, and otherwise use any such User Content through any medium, whether alone or in combination with other Content or materials, in any manner and by any means, method or technology, whether now known or hereafter created, in connection with the Service..."

These yahoos don’t accept auto narrative books. Are they from last century?
