It’s easy to rate a service or company when everything goes smoothly. It’s all about meeting your expectations or not.

Well, it was not my case! Unfortunately, I had a bit of a mishap during my trip (my fault, of course!). Consequently, I found myself hospitalized in a remote location of a foreign country, completely unfamiliar with the language and healthcare system. Despite these challenges, the support provided by the local guides, Ms. Trang and Fine Asian Escapes exceeded any expectations of a travel agent.

Their unwavering assistance, including their proactive approach to navigating the healthcare system, was truly exceptional. I am deeply grateful for their support during this situation. Their efforts not only made for an unforgettable vacation but also provided invaluable help when the unexpected occurred.

Trang and her team at Fine Asian Escapes ensured our holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia was exceptional in every aspect. The Guides were all very informative and gave us well researched and interesting facts about all of our destinations, as well as being friendly and personable. The Drivers were very polite and we felt safe in their care at all times. All of our accommodations were of high standard and a pleasure to stay in.

I would highly recommend booking a holiday with Fine Asian Escapes. Trang put together a wonderful itinerary for our 3 week to visit Vietnam and Cambodia. She was responsive and communicated well and 'tweaked' any changes we wanted to make. Trang kept in touch throughout the trip to ensure things were going well.
The hotels Trang chose were all perfect for us. Our guides in Vietnam, Spring, Lan, Fletcher and Chin were amazing. So easy to chat with and they shared their extensive local knowledge and gave us a real insight in history, cultural and family life. The same in Cambodia too- all our guides and drivers were helpful and kind and made us feel safe and looked after.
We went on some wonderful food tours which we can recommend and enjoyed all the places we visited. It really was a fascinating trip.

to me, and I am so glad that happened. Trang created a bespoke tour for myself and 7 friends. Right from the very beginning Trangs suggestions were fantastic. Communication was always prompt and all queries were answered with a great solution. All our guides were fantastic, and it was great knowing that when we arrived at each new destination a guide was waiting for us. All our hotels and inclusions were just fabulous. Trang kept in contact with us during our stay in Vietnam which was wonderful . I have no hestitation at all recommending Fine Asian Escapes for anyone wishing to travel to Vietnam and surrounding countries.

Our tour, by comparison to most others, was probably much smaller in scale and simpler, but it didn't show in the service that we received from Trang. She always replied emails and messages very quickly thoughout. When organising the trip, she was flexible and responsive, and she kept in touch during the trip, sorting out any minor issues that might arise. The English speaking guides we had were all good to excellent, and the driver provided was safe and efficient. We had a memorable short trip to Vietnam!

My family and I have been to Vietnam in 2023 and this year 2025 to see my daughter and do some sightseeing. We are just home and have make some comments.

We gave Fine Asian Escapes a list of things we would like to see. Ms Trang Nguyen did fantastic job organisation of all our bookings trip transport she was amazing to work with from our first email to checking on us throughout the journey, and until we arrived home safely. She was very helpful in putting together and customizing our itinerary for private tours of Cambodia and Vietnam. Communications were excellent. From the minute we landed in Vietnam 14 days later, we were taken care of in an exceptional manner. From airport pick up to drop off and all the days in between everything was very smooth. It made traveling and experiencing new counties and cultures very easy and stress free for us! Our guides were excellent. English was very good. They were attentive to our needs, and they were knowledgeable about their counties and localities and passionate to share their culture and history with us!
This is a small private travel company and any changes made were e-mail to me and agreed and always made the experiences better.
The hotel selections were excellent. Check in was smooth. Breakfast and lunches were excellent and food was delicious.
Lunches were provided on the various tours tastings and of the local cuisines.

I cannot recommend highly enough Fine Asian Escapes. You will be looked after from getting off the plane to heading back on the plane to sadly head home.

When you search for travel agencies for SE Asia, there are literally hundreds to choose from. I feel like we hit the jackpot with Fine Asian Escapes. Ms Nga Nguyen was amazing to work with from our first email to checking on us throughout the journey, and until we arrived home safely. From the minute we landed in Cambodia up to our departure from Vietnam 17 days later, we were taken care of in an exceptional manner. From airport pick up to drop off and all the days in between everything was very smooth. It made traveling and experiencing new counties and cultures very easy and stress free for us! One advantage of private travel is being able to make minor changes along the way and they were most accommodating.
The hotel selections were excellent. Check in was smooth. Breakfast and lunches were feasts! Too much food!!! But delicious. Lunches provided experiences with multiple tastings of the local cuisines.

We had such a wonderful experience working with Ms. Trang Nguyen, who helped us to plan a customized 2 week trip in Vietnam and Cambodia. She made sure that all the minute details of transfers, travel and food were taken care of, obtained visas for us, reassured us during our immigration between countries and checked on us multiple times to make sure that everything was going okay.

Even with the time difference between us, she always responded quickly to all of my questions. She gladly accepted our requests for a specific hotel and changes to the itinerary. While on our vacation, we didn't have to worry about transfers to the airport or hotels or anything else for that matter. Even when we had a minor hiccup at one of our hotels, Ms. Trang immediately contacted the hotel to have the issue addressed promptly. Every detail of our vacation was carefully planned and communicated to myself and our various guides. There was upside on every day of the 10-day tour we took of Vietnam and Cambodia with Fine Asian Escapes. Ms. Trang Nguyen was prescient in the places, hotels, meals she chose for us, not to forget that she was always ready to customize. We got drivers and guides to give us an experience we couldn't have figured out ourselves, since we were visiting these countries the first time. In Siem Reap in Cambodia, the guide experience was delightfully interactive, given that we (me and my wife) were raised Hindu and Angkor Wat and the other temples were originally built as Hindu temples. We were also perfectly at ease in the extremely dense concentration of shops in Hanoi, Hoi An and Siem Reap, because we have seen that in Mumbai before. The breakfast buffets were almost like brunch buffets. (If I would change one thing about the included lunches, it is that I would make them dinners, simply because it is hard to eat 5-6 course lunches after these breakfast buffets.)

One other suggestion I have is to combine the roles of driver and guide if possible. It could save some money. We chose the 4-star premium package and it was not a problem for us, but I do think it may bring more customers.

We also loved the break from sight-seeing when doing the class in Vietnamese cooking and lantern making. Definitely something we will cook at home.

While I have largely turned vegetarian and requested Ms. Nguyen for vegetarian meals, I had to suspend that diet in this trip for the best possible reason, that there was so variety of good food that I did not want to miss.

Ms. Nguyen and her small company punches well above their weight. You will get personal service that is harder with bigger tour operators. Absolutely worth comparing and considering. You won't be disappointed.

Everything about Fine Asian Escapes is a pleasure.
From my first emails to enquire about our trip, through the planning process, Ms Trang seemed to be available whenever I had a question. She helped plan our trip locations, hotels, excursions and more, Even once the booking was made she kept in touch to advise on Visas and other essentials.
When we landed in Hanoi, we were met from the plane and our passage through customs was expedited. The first lady who met us snapped our pic on her mobile which ensured that our guides in various cities recognised our faces and saved us from searching for them.
Speaking of guides... Wow. we had guides at each location we visited. Sapa, Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An and Saigon. Each guide was fluent in English, but more importantly, they were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their cities. They also all had a good sense of humour which is so important when you are spending a lot of time together. Throughout the trip Ms Trang kept in tough to ensure that we were having a good time and advising us about our next location and guide.
When our planned itinerary was complete, we elected to stay on in Saigon for a few extra days. Ms Trang organised our hotel, a late checkout on our departure date and a driver and guide to take us to the airport and ensure that our check in was seamless.
I cannot recommend Fine Asian Escapes highly enough. Every person involved with the company is a credit to them and as a team they strive to give you the perfect holiday.

We had Fine Asian Escapes plan an 8-day tour of Vietnam that included travel by air between multiple cities in the country, stays in several hotels, and an itinerary packed with tours and other experiences. Overall, we were very satisfied with all the accommodations, travel arrangements, and tours in our package, and the guides we had in each city did a great job. We can't say enough good things about Ms. Trang and the staff at Fine Asian Escapes, they went out of their way to accommodate us, even when we asked them to make changes to our itinerary at the last minute. I would recommend Fine Asian Escapes to anyone that is looking for a highly competent travel agency with a staff that is professional, courteous, and knowledgeable of the best things to see and do in Vietnam, as well as other countries in the region. We had a 14 day holiday in Vietnam & Cambodia- end of October/beginning of November this year. From the outset, we received an excellent service. Ms. Trang helped create an itinerary based on our needs. Through email exchanges, we confirmed & finalised our travel plans. We were met at each point of our journey by knowledgeable, English speaking guides & very friendly taxi drivers. The places we stayed in were comfortable & as we both are vegetarian this was planned into the travel arrangements as well.
Our guides were very pleasant & gave us time to enjoy the ambience & beauty of the places we visited & accommodated our wishes and were not pushy/rushing us to finish up for the day.

Fine Asian Escapes, our guides & Ms Trang especially made this a very memorable experience for the both of us.
While the prices may seem a bit high, the comfort - especially the places we stayed in & the taxi & domestic flights & not having to worry & constantly plan for what we needed to do next certainly makes it worthwhile.

I tried Fine Asian Escapes for the first time on my trip to Hanoi and Sapa in September 2024. I found them on the web search. Trang Nguyen is the Director of Sales and she did an incredible job creating a itinerary specific to my travel dates and interests. I am very pleased with my experience. Everything was perfect including my guides in Hanoi (Hoang) and Sapa (Tung). Also the hotels I said in were all 5 stars and incredible. I stayed one night on the Heritage Cruise in Ha Long Bay and the experience was incredible. I love Vietnam! My mom is going back in March 2025 and I will use Fine Asian Escapes to help her book her trip!

A friend referred me to Fine Asian Escapes to help plan a 5 day trip to Laos. Trang and her team worked with contacts in Laos to arrange our visit to Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng and Vientiane. The guides we had were topnotch and the accommodation was stellar. We particularly loved our hotel in Luang Prabang. Laos was lovely! We would definitely contact Trang again to help us in SE Asia.
