Very slow to respond, I can't see any discernible progress made at all. It's been nearly two months and nothing.

I need to try and get my £75 back. I assume this company bought out Shotgun medicals at some point in the last five years who I used before and were superb.

Submitted firearms medical on 2nd December. Several calls made and no answer, are the phone lines connected?

Only one email response with several emails sent.

My licence is due for renewal 3rd March and I’m going to have to look elsewhere. £75 wasted. Absolute joke of a company.

Avoid at all cost!

I paid for my firearms medical months ago but I have only received excuse after excuse as to why I have not had my medical form sent to my police firearms dept. I would NOT recommend this company because despite Email after Email I still cannot get my firearms cert after 6 months. Avoid at all cost.

Not sure what’s going on been phoning before Christmas and emailed and still have no contact with this company.

if your having problems with your GP getting your medical proforma filled in as a lot of us are then this is the company to use for a speedy response and being kept in the loop and not having your emails ignored as i did with another company and lost £90 at least firearms medicals have a contact phone number unlike others who only accept emails and respond with automated ones.i contacted Alex Williams from firearms medicals and explained my situation and i had a response in 2 hours with is advise on how to proceed i started the application with them on 11/04/24 and received my completed medical proforma on 24/04/24 absolute perfect service thanks again to Alex at firearms medicals

I went to Firearms Medicals when my own GP's Practice (charging me £160 for the 'privilege') failed to complete my medical proforma - after a 40 day wait - successfully delaying my FAC/SGC renewal process. I cancelled the Surgery and sent my forms etc to them ( my thanks to Meera there for her help etc) on 11th December and they received my medical records on 20th December. Their GP completed my form and forwarded it to the Police on 26th December and Meera notified me accordingly. I call that excellent service and only wish I had gone to them in the first place but (mistakenly) wanted to use my 'own' Doctor! ( I suspect there are many others who will make the same mistake.) Highly recommended. Cost effective and efficient.

Excellent service by Firearms Medicals, I will be recommending them to members of the clubs I belong to for help in renewing their firearms certificates.
I was kept appraised of progress, and a copy of the medical report was sent directly to my firearms licensing team.
I didn't know who to turn to when my GP surgery declined to help. Thank you so much for making the process very easy.

Fantastic experience. Contacted the company on 16.05.23. and was kept informed throughout the whole process. This included having to wait for permissions and doctors allowing the company access to medical records. Medical records were then reviewed and filled in by a licenced G.P. and sent directly to the relevant police department. We also received a copy of the filled in medical via email. Special thanks to Alex who was probably the most helpful, patient, professional and friendly customer service person I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
