Brian our driver was on time/early, patient and very kind- we would love to have him as our bus driver again in the future! The booking process was easy and everyone I communicated with was very helpful-this was my first time setting up a field trip for a large group of young children and FirstCharter definitely made the transportation part of it a breeze!

Assortment of issues - we had busses arrive at the wrong location, despite several phone calls confirming the location, we had the wrong type of bus arrive (specifically requested cargo space for luggage). It was profoundly frustrating.

The first time I used this company, they charged us an extra $700 without notice for a late departure. I understand the fee, but seeing it with no word was alarming. The second and third time I have used them, they can't seem to get the reservations correct. I had to call at least three times to get the departure dates and times correct on the quote. Unfortunately, I can't find another school bus rental place locally.

We hired First Charter to shuttle our guests from our wedding venue to the after-party, and they were fantastic! The bus arrived early, was clean and comfortable, and the driver was incredibly friendly and professional. They made sure everyone got where they needed to go safely. It made the transition from the wedding to the after-party seamless and stress-free for us and our guests. We’re so grateful for their reliability—highly recommend for any event transportation!

I had a great driver for a field trip. Very accommodating, efficient, and pleasant to work with. The office staff as well. The one downside is the high cost. Be ready for spend almost $1000 on a few hours local trip! Most schools without their own buses will not be able to pay these prices.

It was a wonderful event and great service! The only complaint we have is about making the reservation. We make it, then wait for a confirmation to actually have the reservation. Sometimes that comes very close to the event, and that causes a little worry. Could you please reserve the bus for the date we need when we call in? Or get back to us with a confirmation sooner? Thank you!

The bus was late picking us up on the first day of our trip (Friday). The bus was supposed to arrive at 10:00 AM, but didn’t arrive until 10:15-10:30. There was no communication and it was hard to get a hold of anyone to even find out what was going on. Then, on the last day of our trip (Sunday), the bus was almost 2 hours late. There was communication about being late the first hour, but the last 50 minutes were spent trying to get a hold of dispatch and find out what was going on. The Bus was supposed to arrive at 12:00 PM and didn’t arrive until 1:50 PM. The same thing happened last year on our return trip (same trip/Youth camp retreat), the bus was over an hour late picking us up.

Bus arrived late for pick up. Bus missed exit on freeway taking us 15+ minutes out of our way on the way to dinner so that our food was barely still warm and making our trip extended past the schedule return time.
