I thought they did great! The buses were right on time both at the start and picking us up! All of the bus drivers were very sweet :)

If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered 5 buses to show up to our pickup spot at 4:30 sharp, the bus drivers were rejecting our calls, the drivers showed up another hour past our requested pickup time to head back to our hometown and the customer service was awful. Our originally 3 hour event only got to be 1 hour because of how late the buses were. We are extremely unhappy and will be contacting the district manager demanding a refund, we will also make sure to spread the word how overpriced and awful this company is.

First Charter Bus provided incredible service for family wedding. We chartered for a tour of the brides hometown! Thaddeus made our trip with his smile and helpfulness, even during rain downpour. The entire process from initial contact to quote to final drop off was a pleasure.

We had a wonderful driver who transported us from our wedding venue to our home for the after party. Driver was on time, bus was clean, felt safe on the roads. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We used First Student for transporting our wedding guests to and from our hotel, to our wedding venue and back to the hotel afterwards. We started booking with Emily, during pandemic restrictions and she kept us updated with every emailed question. We set the schedule a week ahead of our wedding, she shared the information for the buses coming from different garages and provided us with cell numbers for the drivers to keep a open line of communication during our event.
The drivers were on time and courteous to our guests during pick-up and drop-off and both locations.
The availability of the drivers on-site, made our guests feel safe and allowed them to enjoy themselves at what many had described as the "Best Wedding Ever".

The Only Stain on an Otherwise Perfect Wedding

We booked with First Charter for our 2020 wedding, and rescheduled with them for our postponed 2021 date. In weeks leading up to the big day, it was incredibly difficult to get ahold of any customer service representative. After a week of consistent outreach, I was finally able to speak with someone and confirm details for our wedding shuttle. I should have recognized this difficulty in communication as a warning sign.

The wedding day began, and fast forward to 5:00pm, the shuttle that was supposed to report to the hotel by 3:30pm for a 4:30pm cocktail hour had not shown up yet. Even if they were a half hour, even 45 minutes late--no harm, no foul--but no--they were over an hour and a half late. Between 60-80+ of our guests were stranded at the hotel and either had to bring their own cars to the venue, or had to wait and continue to miss the wedding. It got to the point where I had to take time out of my wedding day to call dispatch myself. My father, the father of the groom, had to leave his son's wedding reception to take his own car to shuttle people himself. Finally the driver showed up, not knowing at all what his expectations were even though I had communicated it to the customer service on multiple occasions, and at that point had little to no one to even drive over.

I even sent an email the day after, and have still not heard back over one week later. First Charter Bus Rental is disorganized to say the least, and has shown no remorse for literally being the only stain on an otherwise amazing day. A large chunk of our guests were unable to enjoy the experience, and money on our end was wasted paying for people that were not in attendance due to First Charter's mishap. I urge any couple to consider using another company that provides the basic communication and customer service that any human being should be able to expect from a vendor or service.

Pick-Up was fine and right on time, but the driver insisted she was done at 11pm when my contract stated 11:45p. I requested 3 shuttle times from our wedding venue to the hotel (all laid out in my contract), and the driver gave the guests a hard time about this. There was an announcement made in the middle of my wedding that the last bus was at 10:30 - so guests rushed to leave. The bus driver had a guest tell the DJ to make an announcement. The final shuttle was to leave the venue at 11p, but the shuttle did not arrive back till 11:30. I also received a text/voicemail at 5:30p the day of my wedding stating that I need to sign a document? Luckily one of my guests signed it. Wish I would have known prior that a document needed to be signed.

Driver was pleasant and accommodating. The trip went as planned. My only feedback would be to improve communication. It was difficult to get through to a person to ask a question and remained on hold for a very long time after which you are offered a call back or leave voicemail. A response was either received at the end of the day when no one was available at the local hub to answer the question, or the call was returned a day later.
