Website Promises “Perfect Fit” & “100% Money Back Guarantee” — Reality Delivers Partial Covers, Cut-It-Yourself Installation, and a No-Win Refund and Warranty Trap!
Be very careful before ordering from First Class Covers.
✏️ EDITED AFTER THE COMPANY’S REPLY:
📌 I edited my original review because First Class Covers’ reply is inaccurate, and the only way I can respond is by updating my review itself.
📂 I have documented evidence supporting my entire account and would share all of it here if Trustpilot allowed more space.
⚠️ RESPONSE TO: “YOU ORDERED STANDARD FITMENT”
That is exactly the issue. The normal website order process created a strong “custom fit,” “perfect fit,” and “100% money back guarantee” impression, while the real limitations were buried in policy pages and the install video. The website did not meaningfully present a true side-by-side checkout choice between the online product and a separate full custom option.
⚠️ RESPONSE TO: “THE WEBSITE CLEARLY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING”
When our order arrived, the covers were not labeled by seat position, there were no real instructions in the box, the set was missing required headrest holes, and the rear covers were only partial covers. The only printed instructions were a generic front-seat sheet found on the website, and the main instructions were a YouTube video that did not actually show key steps like strap routing, hook locations, or the headrest cut-and-tuck process.
The video literally says that if there are no headrest holes, you need to “use a pair of scissors and cut an X” yourself because “we aren’t going to do the holes for you.” That is not what most people think they are buying when the site advertises a premium custom-fit product that “installs in 30 minutes or less.”
⚠️ RESPONSE TO: “YOU REFUSED TO COOPERATE”
That is false. We gave the company ample opportunity to fix the situation before filing any dispute. The order was placed in December 2025, delivered February 10, 2026, and not finally resolved until April 2, 2026. For weeks, they kept asking for more photos, more install attempts, and more proof without ever clearly agreeing to a return and refund.
⚠️ RESPONSE TO: “YOU WEAPONIZED / SPAMMED THE DISPUTE SYSTEM”
Also false. The first Affirm dispute was closed because my additional evidence was not properly attached to the file. On 3/25/26, Ana V. from the Affirm Resolutions Team specifically instructed me to file a new dispute with the necessary evidence so they could review it again. I followed Affirm’s instructions. Affirm ultimately resolved the matter in my favor based on the evidence. If First Class Covers truly wanted to “just let me have it,” they could have simply authorized a return and refund directly. They never did, and I was not required to return the product.
⚠️ RESPONSE TO THE REFUND POLICY ISSUE
Their reply still ignores the core contradiction: they wanted us to alter the covers first, while their own policy also says returned items must be “unused” and in “original condition,” and that full installation is required before refund review. They also say refunds are only considered after an approved exchange attempt and that fit is judged by their own fitment guidelines, not by what a normal buyer would understand “perfect fit” to mean. That is the no-win situation I described.
⚠️ WARRANTY / GUARANTEE ISSUE
The “money back guarantee” ended up meaning basically nothing in our experience, and the same goes for the advertised 1-year warranty. Their terms say that if you use a discount over a certain amount, that discount replaces the warranty, and the site appears to run discounts on basically everything.
✅ BOTTOM LINE
I stand by my review. My issue was never that I expected something impossible. My issue was that the website sold a much cleaner, more premium, and more protected product experience than the buried policies, installation requirements, warranty limitations, and refund terms actually allowed.
