⭐ 1 STAR — Proceed With Extreme Caution

If I could give First Stop Loans zero stars, I would.

My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. What started as obtaining financial assistance quickly turned into an experience where I felt pressured and uncomfortable with the way my account was handled.

The biggest issue for me has been the communication and collection approach. I believe customers who are dealing with financial difficulties should be treated with professionalism and respect — not made to feel pressured or intimidated.

I have kept documentation of my communications and transactions because, in my experience, having everything in writing is absolutely necessary.

What concerns me most is that this doesn't appear to be an isolated complaint. Their current Trustpilot profile contains multiple recent 1-star reviews describing serious concerns about their collection practices and customer treatment.

My advice to anyone considering borrowing from First Stop Loans:

READ EVERYTHING. Understand every fee. Understand exactly who the lender is. Keep every email and message. And don't assume that getting the money quickly means dealing with the company will be easy afterward.

Financial hardship is already stressful enough. A lender should not make the situation worse.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend First Stop Loans to anyone looking for a straightforward, stress-free borrowing experience.

Do your homework before giving them your banking information or signing anything.

No matter what situation you find yourself in NEVER EVER GET A LOAN FROM THIS COMPANY. I recently changed jobs and my payment was returned nsf. I advised them right away and they harassed me continually for 3 days. Terrible personal messages. Calling my cell phone and threatening me. Please do not do business with them
I promised to pay in 2 days and they continued to harass me with personal messages. Do your self favor and nev er look for help from them EVER. I borrowed the money from a family member and first kept harassing me because they could not find the payment. Don't do it!

So this keeps going on! They told me I lied and did not send the payment because they couldn't find it. Demanded a screen shot so I complied and sent it. I'll keep you updated on what happens next.

I am unable to give them 0 stars or I would. My mother passed away so I was 3 days late making a payment. Over the last 3 days I received more than 3 dozen threatening text messages, calls to my employer and dozens of threatening and demeaning emails. Yes, 3 days..not 33 days. Shame on them.

If I could give zero stars I would. These people are abusive. They cannot be trusted with your information.

ZERO STARS!!

SCAMMERS, THEY AREN'T LICENSED AND WILL CONTINUE TO WITHDRAW MONEY FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE REPAID WHAT YOU BORROWED. They somehow gained access to my new bank account after opening a new one which is ILLEGAL. WATCH OUT FOR THESE CRIMINALS.
