We reordered a previously purchased item, the process was smooth and efficient.

I am very disappointed with the product,it is absolutely not what you advertised on your website,
The yacht next to us laughing about how curved the flag was,seeing it from a distance,the stitching are not straight,colors of stitching are different,so all it is just a homemade product ,stitched together in a garage by a Asian person, no quality at all, you understand that I can not recommend your company to other yacht owners and Captain.

Flagmakers designed and fitted a halyard system that was not rebust enough and failed within a year. When rectified, they tightened the halyard in such a way that it chafed half way though within 6 months. They then blamed it on us. Avoid..

I purchased a red ensign union flag a while ago. The flag was very disappointing and underwhelming, and did not look like how it was presented on the website. The material was good quality but surprisingly very thin, (to me it looked like the polyester fibres had a loose open weave - whereas the website images/polyester material appeared smooth, and thicker than the actual product) the sales administrator for the company did explained that it was MOD grade polyester and thicker material does not bode well in windy conditions, and though this may be true, I felt frustrated by this explanation. My main frustration was that there was a stitched seam right down the middle of the material/flag, again not shown on the product images on the website. Now I could understand if two or more opposing colours or patterns were being stitched together, but this simply was not the case as the main body of the flag was red, no need to stitch two separate pieces of red polyester together. The most obvious reason for this I can see is to cut down on waste material. An additional frustration when I requested a refund was that there was a 20% reduced refund amount due to a restocking fee (in fairness it does mention this in T&Cs, but in this day and age this is absurd). I never got a reply to my last email, though I did receive a refund (minus a 20% restocking fee) quite quickly. I’m sorry to complain Flagmakers.co.uk, but simply not good enough. You need to take a real close look at your products and website, and try to remain unbiased (it was clear from the sales administrator’s email replies that she was quite offended about my comments though I was only trying to give some constructive criticism) and not to forget that sometimes a customer may have a valid point to raise.

I wish I'd read reviews before using this company. Bought a Royal Signals flag for my husband. It arrived when it should have done, and the flag itself was well made. However the print was shocking, "Jimmy" was slightly blurred and there were white bits all around him and the Certa Ceto. My husband said he would be embarrassed to hang the flag, so I emailed the company. Three weeks later and still there has been no reply. The flag was sent back by special delivery so I know they received it over a week ago, no email to let me know that. As of yet, no refund. I wonder how long that will take, and how many times one of us will have to make contact with them about it, we may have to go round to their business premises. Obviously they took the £75+ for the flag out of my account straight away! Be warned, don't use Flagmakers UK.

Useless can’t get a union flag correct
Had no idea you could get a fake uk flag but they managed it
If you know your flags it’s easy to spot
As the uk ( union ) has a right way up and a wrong way.
The flag they sent out. Is the same both ways with thin white strip at the top and the bottom ????

I would like to take the opportunity of updating my recent review of Flagmakers, and in particular the response of there customer service team when a problem arose with a flag I had purchased from them.
Within 24 hours of my review of the 4th of August being posted Kim came back to me to discuss the problems I had experienced. I am genuinely pleased to report that Kim dealt with my issues extremely professionally and we came to an arrangement on another flag which I am pleased to say arrived promptly and is now flying on my flagpole.
My bad experience is now a distant memory and Kim has personally restored my faith in Flagmakers and I will definitely be returning for additional flags in the near future.
