The sequence of events you described — a booking with no follow-up email, a next-day price change, difficulties obtaining clear answers about fare class and booking references, and contradictory information about your payment — is not acceptable, and we are sorry you had to endure a few calls to resolve something that should have been straightforward from the start.

We would like to clarify a few points regarding your booking.

Flights and fares are provided by airlines and global reservation systems in real time. In rare circumstances, a fare or seat may no longer be available by the time the reservation is being finalised with the airline. When this occurs, customers are always given the choice either to proceed with an alternative option or not to continue with the booking.

We would also like to clarify that a payment authorisation or pending transaction shown by a bank does not necessarily mean that funds have been received or settled by the merchant. In many cases, pending authorisations are automatically released by the customer's bank if a booking cannot be completed. We understand that this process can be confusing and may have contributed to the misunderstanding regarding the payment status.

Regarding the alternative itinerary, our team worked to identify replacement options and negotiated a reduced fare difference in an effort to assist you. At no point were you obligated to proceed with the alternative booking, and no additional payment was processed.

As our secure system is fully automated, your payment was never settled or captured. Since the payment was never captured, you have received your full funds back into your account straightaway without any delay.

We acknowledge that our communication could have been clearer and more concise during your interactions with our team. For that, we sincerely apologise. We continuously review customer feedback to improve our service and communication standards.
