Worse airline in the world.
My flight was cancelled by flydubai, yet customer service kept trying to reframe the situation as a “voluntary cancellation.” I asked for a refund, got delayed responses(No one response the first email for 7 business days. I have to called 3 times, but repeating my case each time), was offered a voucher instead, and then was told the case was closed. The worst part was not the cancellation itself, but the way they avoided responsibility and ignored the actual sequence of events.

I booked a flight with my friend from Zanzibar to Dubai, even paid for seats next to each other. They overbooked the plane so much that my friend could not fly with me. She took another flight later. The employees at the check in were the worst, we didn't hear any "we are sorry for the situation". All we heard was they were doing us a favour and if we don't accept the later flight we can go home. Worst experience I had in 20 years of travelling. So if you book a 6h flight with your spouse and want to get rid of him/her, book with flydubai. They will take care of it.

Never again with the worst airline in the world. On March 10, 2026, we were supposed to fly from Thailand to Dubai and then from Dubai to Warsaw. All the flights were canceled. Nobody informed us until the day of the flight. We were standing at the airport and went to the Fly Dubai counter. No help was offered to us, except that we could sleep at the airport until the war is over. The staff's behavior was so outrageous, it's unbelievable. We later had to buy tickets ourselves for around €7,500, including hotel costs, and nobody wants to reimburse us now. The whole matter is now going to court with a lawyer. They can show off in Dubai, but they won't pay. Never again, and we will never vacation in any of these Arab countries. I strongly advise everyone against it. Brother, you even have to sleep in the underground parking garage during your vacation in Dubai. The Arab guests were still allowed to use the hotel. This shows how infidel tourists are treated. Never again.

La plus mauvaise compagnie qui existe. Non seulement les tout petit avions sont bourrés de cafards Et en mauvais état. Je ne sais même pas comment que ça se fait que cette compagnie a le droit d'atterrir en Europe. Même à dubaï sur le tarmac, ils sont tellement loin que vous devez faire 30 minutes de bus pour rejoindre l'aéroport.. Ils nous ont laissés depuis le 01/03/26 21 jours. Sans nouvelles, Ils nous ont annulés 4 fois les vols. Tout en continuant à vendre ces mêmes vols qu'ils annulent 2h après C'est une bande d'escroc et de voyou honteux. Tout ça pour finalement nous proposer quand nous avons racheté des billets d'avion et demandé le remboursement, de nous donner des avoirs sur cette compagnie désastreuse Donc vous ne serez pas sûr de pouvoir rentrer.. J'appelle. A tout ceux qui décident de porter plainte en groupe. Afin de leur faire interdire l'accès à l'espace européen de me rejoindre afin de leur attenter un procès. Et d'informer la dg ac. De leur comportement, et de leur infraction aux règles européennes. N'acceptez surtout pas leurs avoirs réclamé la totalité des billets d'avion Aller et retour pour vous avoir gâché le voyage. Ainsi que tous les frais engagés par leur incompétence. Ne lâchez rien, ensemble nous serons plus forts pour les combattres. Un simple courrier Au tribunal administratif, sans avocat, engagera une procédure. Ainsi, comme courrier à la dgac afin de signaler leur comportement. Une compagnie même étrangère est tenue de respecter les règles européennes à partir du moment où ils décollent de l'espace européen. Et peuvent se faire bloquer au sol par un huissier leurs avions jusqu'au paiement. Il compte sur le fait que vous l'assiez tombé Même en temps de guerre. Ils sont tenus de vous prendre en charge C'est une obligation européenne les contraignant. ils ne sont pas invincibles Quand ils atterrissent sur les aéroports européens. Hours on the Phone, Still No Answer
Very disappointing experience with Flydubai.
I had a flight booked from Milan Bergamo to Dubai. Given the current situation, Dubai is considered a potentially risky destination, so I decided to request a cancellation and refund.
Flydubai clearly states on their website that refunds must be requested through the travel agency used for the booking. So I contacted Mytrip (the agency I booked through) and spent several hours on the phone (around 2.5 to 3 hours in total) trying to resolve the issue.
However, here is where the problem starts: Mytrip says they cannot cancel the flight or process a refund without authorization from Flydubai, and that they are still waiting for a response from the airline.
Today, on the day of my flight, I am still being told that no response has been received from Flydubai, and there is no clarity on whether the ticket will be refunded or not.
This puts customers in an impossible situation:
* Flydubai tells you to go through the agency
* The agency says they are waiting for Flydubai
In the end, no one takes responsibility and the customer is left without answers.
This lack of coordination and support is extremely frustrating. Clear communication between airline and agency should not be the customer’s problem.

Fly Dubai - A Lesson in Non Performance
Fly Dubai has the most unprofessional staff at the Mumbai International Airport, Mumbai, India. When flight services were cancelled at Dubai Airport on 16th March 2026 due to the ongoing war the staff here at Mumbai international airport, India, did not reschedule flights nor deal with any customer grievances. They preferred to disappear with vague explanations and zero accountability. If you book a flight with FlyDubai, be prepared for cancelled flights and unprofessional behavior. The ground staff have long chaotic immigration lines, limited customer support and extremely arrogant senior management staff who are rude and unprofessional.
Please think twice before ever booking Fly Dubai.

Extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
My experience strongly suggests serious misconduct by ground staff. My cabin suitcase was taken from my hand on the open runway under the excuse that the aircraft was full. However, during the flight I clearly saw multiple rows of three seats completely empty.
When I arrived home, I discovered my bag had been searched and personal cash that was hidden inside was missing. This was not packed as checked baggage — it was my cabin bag. In their email response, they blamed me for leaving valuables inside, even though this was my carry-on luggage taken from me at boarding.
I will never fly with this airline again. Extremely disappointing and unacceptable.

Lasciate perdere, posti a sedere stretti come su Ryanair ma con voli lunghi e frustranti, cibo pessimo, assistenza nulla, bagagli aperti e rotti durante il viaggio (rotto il lucchetto, rubate giacche e vestiti). Ho anche contattato l'assistenza per un rimborso e negano qualsiasi accaduto (con più persone sullo stesso volo con lo stesso problema). Spendete qualcosa in più e andate con compagnie aeree serie.

Grateful to FlyDubai for quickly resuming their flights during the airspace closure over the UAE. Amid rising speculation, FlyDubai offered reasonably priced tickets from Dubai to Milano Bergamo. We left on time and the pilot kept us on informed throughout the flight.

Unhelpful Customer Service from Prague Office - Refused to check my booking and lacked basic knowledge
I am writing to share a very disappointing experience with the Flydubai customer support line in the Czech Republic (Prague office / Blue Sky Travel).
I had an urgent IT issue where Flydubai’s system erroneously added a fake flight to my booking and locked my PNR. When I called the Czech support line for assistance, the agent was completely unhelpful and seemed predetermined not to assist me at all.
She did not even bother to ask for my booking reference (PNR) or open the system to look at my reservation. Instead, she simply brushed me off, stating that she had a thousand other people waiting on the line.
Furthermore, the agent displayed a shocking lack of basic ticketing knowledge. When I asked her about the 'On hold' status mentioned in the automated email I received from Flydubai, she incorrectly claimed it meant a 'scheduled flight,' completely misunderstanding that it was a payment time limit locking my reservation.
Refusing to open a customer's reservation to check a system error, combined with a lack of basic airline terminology, shows a severe lack of professional competence. I hope Flydubai headquarters reviews how their Prague representatives handle passenger calls and training.

Extremely poor crisis management and communication – stranded passengers left without clear support
Our experience with flydubai has been extremely disappointing and stressful.
Due to airspace closures, our flight was diverted to Hyderabad, India. While we understand that such situations can happen and are outside the airline’s control, what followed was a complete failure in communication, coordination and customer support.
We have now been stuck in Hyderabad for several days together with around 70 other passengers. Instead of clear information and guidance, the local representatives have provided inconsistent statements, avoided direct answers and repeatedly changed the narrative about what flydubai is responsible for.
At times we were even told that the airline is no longer responsible for us, despite the fact that we never signed any waiver and our journey has clearly not been completed.
This has created unnecessary uncertainty and frustration among passengers. Rather than providing transparent communication and a clear plan, it feels like passengers are being left in the dark and information is being handled inconsistently.
The situation is particularly difficult for us because my partner is 20 weeks pregnant, making the ongoing uncertainty and stress even more concerning.
No one expects an airline to control geopolitical events or airspace closures. However, passengers absolutely expect professional crisis management, clear communication and a sense of responsibility.
Unfortunately, our experience with flydubai has been the opposite.
Based on this experience, we cannot recommend flying with flydubai if you expect reliable customer support in difficult situations.
In the end they managed to got us on a flight and i give them Credit for the accommodation. It could have been a good experience if it weren't for the catastrophic communication.
