2 different flymos, absolute rubbish
If I could give 0 stars I would with a load of exclamation marks following.
Bought the 360v easyglide hover from homebargains after my other branded mowers motor went. Took it straight out being excited to use a flymo and it died 5 seconds after I began. It felt like cheap plastic but I assumed the reputation would justify that but no. Changed extension lead, fuse etc nothing. Took that back and bought the 300 easiglide version from Argos with slightly better reviews. Absolute waste of time too as it didn't pick up grass at all and left it blowing in my face, plus couldn't pull it back and could only go forwards. I returned that and went with a different brand. Customer service was excellent from both places and both said they have had nothing but returns with these.

It used up all the roll of plastic cutting cord on one small lawn
Have have several movers over the last 20 years but this one is rubbish.
So bad that we will be returning the new unopened larger mower we bought just in case that's rubbish as well when we ciome to try it

Oplever for hver ny model vi har indkøbt er kvaliteten blevet ringere. Model 360 er absolut den rigeste og ikke hver at spilde sin tid på. Kan ikke en gang skære en mælkebøtte over.
Ville ændre klippehøjden men
kan ikke løsne skruen efter at have monteret kniven 14 dage før første gangs brug.
Jeg føler mig godt og grundeigt narret. Noget udsøgt bras efter min mening. Dem som har fabrikeret skidtet burde skamme sig.
Der burde laves en lov der forbyder at bruge resurser på at lave junk.

A BIG CON
I purchased a Flymo cordless lawn mower which cost me £400.00 I had only used it 3 times and the batteries no longer work. These batteries were kept in doors in my cupboard. If you replace the batteries you will be charged £87.00 per battery and my lawn mower needs 2. I would strongly urge no one to buy any cordless flymo lawn mower. Its a big con. Go on youtube and you will see the reviews! Flymo are nothing but thieves!
Flymo EasiGlide 360 failed
Been buying Flymo's for the last 30 years quality seems to have fallen. Last two I have bought EasiGlide 360 with 36cm blade and 1800watts now seem to only last two seasons, been tracking. Same format get out to use stops working within ten minutes. Even with the two year guarantee as seasons/use works out normally out of guarantee when fails.
While working cuts wells and neatly. I therefore 'write off' mower over two years equates to £60 a year. Simply do not have the time or wish the aggravation finding a repairer time to repair and cost of repair. Easier to buy a new machine. I do break down and take for recycle at our local refuse centre.
If machine lasted four years would be a five star.
I do suspect the part that fails is the on button/handles to hold motor on seem very flimsy.
Just bought another will see how long this one lasts.

Flymo junk
Bought a Flymo Easygide 300V 2 years ago to mow my daughters small lawn, worked ok until the warranty ran out! Stopped working altogether. Stripped it down to discover the motor was seized at the main bearing end. Needs a new motor.
I have a Flymo VT 350 which I have used every season for over 30 years and it has given me excellent service.
The more modern models are not fit for purpose.
The 300V is just junk. Taken to tip

Recently bought a Flymo Contour XT strimmer. Utterly useless. Scrap bin for this. Following added on 8th March 2024:
Compared to the 600HD there is no height adjustment.
The cover plate has been reduced in size. Less protection.
Trying to cut a lawn edge cleanly is impossible
The spool change is still a long and tedious task

"Easier by Design"! I have had Flymo lawn mowers all my life and as I live on a hill they have been brilliant in the past. As I have got older the need for lighter machines became essential so the last one was a small hover mower, which has been good but as it was small, mowing was taking too long so I decided I needed a bigger model. The Flymo 400 seemed perfect but no one had one in stock and it seemed to become increasingly clear it had been discontinued, though no one would confirm. I then decided from the write up to get the Easy Glide 330 mower and it arrived yesterday. Set it all up but the handle was rigidly set in one position and after fiddling around couldn't move it so thought it was obviously the design. Mowed my lawn and it seemed fine but with the handle in a fixed position meant I was not able to mow under low lying shrubs, which was a nuisance but OMG... not nearly as much as when I tried to put it the machine away. I have a small garden shed and soon realised I needed the handle to move! What a shocking design fault! I finally learnt what you needed to do and struggled to pull and push to alter the position. As soon as I succeed in getting one side to move, the moment you try and do the other side, the first side clicks back into the original position, so you have to start all over again. It is a struggle so why, why, why is this not a free moving handle like all the others machines I have had?? I am 69 so not as strong as I was but the logo is "Easier by Design" yet this is not in any way 'easy' and is quite simply a major design fault! The other thing I have noticed with these mowers is they have endless little 'pockets' (that is all I can describe them as) all over the plastic covers, where small amounts of grass/dust collect so cleaning is almost impossible and another nightmare. Why can't these machines have more streamlined bodies?

This was the first time I’d purchased a hover mower. It’s lightweight but it’s noisy, both the pivot pins fell off and it cut the lawn unevenly. I’m awaiting a refund. I will stick to rotary mowers in future as I have never had such issues with them.
Don’t waste your money

I have had the strimmer about two months . No reply from customer services,was tempted to buy their Husqvarna robo mower. Strimmer dead in the water (not that its been anywhere near water). Spend more get quality

20 mins on phone , to order spare part. gave details but told they would have to ring me back to take payment. that wa 3 hours ago.STILL WAITING!! rubbish service.. their products are no longer reliable as used to be.and nothing like great after sales service! no nothing like great after sales with flymo. Will never buy another of their product again
Flymo Easiglide 300 dreadful product
I bought a Flymo Easiglide300 last year. We used it less than 10 times last year and it died on the first cut this year. I complained to Flymo customer services who responded quickly saying there was nothing they could do because it was out of contract. The switch, leads etc have been checked so I was told to contact the official Flymo parts centre for a new motor.
The FLYMO parts centre can't locate a motor….I give up! I will NEVER buy another Flymo product. How sad after relying on the make for over 30 years.

Flymos of old were good and reliable. Not any more. Bought a new Easiglide 300V last year. First cut this year impossible - bad motor, so it's going to the tip.
Contacted a local repair shop who said they won't touch Flymos under warranty as they struggle to get paid ! All reports suggest Flymo do not respond to claims. Lesson learnt, never ever again with Flymo!!
Really a waste of my time
Really a waste of my time. Purchased a flymo for £129 today. The blade nut is on so tight, my garage couldn't remove it. Waste of money.
I notice loads of people have the same problem, the plastic spanner is ridiculous.
Going to get my money back from B & Q tomorrow and buy anything other than a Flymo.

I can't believe the reviews I have read on here, I emailed customer services,late Wednesday, had a reply first thing Thursday morning,they couldn't have been more helpful, sending several emails to help me get my robot mower up and running, they talked me through the task, and soon had my mower was back to normal.Well done Siobhan and her colleagues
Dreadful company
I recently bought a Flymo SimpliGuide 360 through Amazon France. The Amazon website information and the Flymo website both state that a 10m cable is provided with the lawnmower. However, I did not receive any cable whatsoever. Now, several weeks later, Flymo through Gardena as the french agent, have suggested that I return the lawnmower to Amazon and ask for a refund. No comment on their dishonest website information.
