I am a new maker on Folksy and opened my shop about a month ago. I have found it a very supportive and friendly community and although it takes a lot of self promotion on the socials I have not yet been able to give it the time it needs. But I will do!

I have bought several items from Folksy for Christmas presents in the last few weeks. I am delighted with all of them and the service the hand crafters offered. It was swift and professional.

I set my shop up in August and have been promoting it like mad since on other social platforms BUT when I tell folk I'm selling on Folksy they have ALL replied " Oh! What's that ? -I've never heard of it!
Folksy - you really need to get out there and promote and advertise yourself. The sellers are out there promoting their individual shops but unless you at Folksy - advertise more as a selling platform we won't attract new customers whatever we do. You really do need to get the Folksy brand and message out there.

The fees and overall working of the site is excellent.
