I purchased the highest quality grade MacBook from them in early May. The laptop worked fine for just over two weeks, but then it stopped working for no apparent reason. As I was traveling, I offered to send the laptop home and requested a refund. They declined, citing their company’s 7-day refund policy. After several emails discussing my entitlement to a refund, they agreed to reimburse my repair fees once I arrived in Melbourne, which I accepted even though I would have preferred a refund then.

A month later, upon arriving in Melbourne, I asked for a recommended repair store but received no response. I found a repair shop on my own, but after several days, they couldn't identify the issue. I am now sending the laptop back home, and once again, the company is refusing to refund me upon receiving this faulty macbook back, reiterating their unreasonable 7 refund policy.

I am not accepting a replacement or repair, as I have read numerous reviews indicating that multiple customes have had issues with products sold and even the replacements they received.

Under the Irish Consumer Rights Act, I am entitled to a refund if a fault occurs within 30 days of purchase. When I requested this within the 30 days, it was refused. Additionally, for major faults which I would consider the laptop not working one, the consumer is entitled to ask for a refund.

I now have no choice but to pursue this issue through the small claims procedure, as this company is denying me my basic consumer rights. Despite making this clear via email, they continue to fall back on their unfair 7-day refund policy.

fonez fraudsters cheated me, I ordered samsung s21 ultra 5G 256 GB, they broke it, they sent me s21 ultra 5G 128GB and delivered a broken phone, this is unfair 👎👎👎👎👎😡😡😡😡

Phone that I purchased in this shop happened to break a couple of day after my warranty expired. After paying for a repair to have inside parts of phone replaced, the following day my screen is not working. Refused to take accountability and repair the screen after I just paid foe the initial repair. The technician man was so rude. After being a. Customer here for the last 3 years I will definitely not be returning. I have never met a man so ignorant and rude.

Really good experience in fonez today bought a I phone 12 pro in cork store

My experience with Fonez regarding the purchase of Apple AirPods Pro was unfortunately disappointing. I initially visited the Galway store on April 30th, hoping to purchase the AirPods Pro, but they were out of stock. I was informed they would be back in stock the following day. However, upon returning, they had not arrived yet. I was advised to order them online for next day delivery.

When I checked their website in-store, the listing for the AirPods Pro wasn't clear whether it was the older Lightning model or the current USB-C model. Seeking clarification, I asked the staff, who assured me it was the USB-C model.

Trusting this information, I placed my order on May 1st, only to receive the item on May 9th, much later than expected. To my dismay, upon opening the package, I discovered it was actually the Lightning model, not the USB-C as I had been assured.

After reaching out to Fonez in an attempt to rectify the mistake, I received a disappointing response stating that due to the seal being broken, they were unable to accept a return or exchange. Despite explaining the situation, highlighting the ambiguity of their online listing, and referencing the assurance provided by their Galway store staff, no solution was offered. According to the representative I spoke to via their live chat, their management had confirmed that nothing could be done. I inquired about the possibility of speaking directly with management but never received a reply from the Fonez representative.

Overall, I'm deeply disappointed by the misinformation provided by Fonez and their unwillingness to resolve the issue. Despite the product being available at a lower price from Harvey Norman, I chose to shop with Fonez based on the assurances they provided and the promise of quick delivery. However, this experience has left me with no intention of returning as a customer.
