My order arrived very quickly after ordering and was packaged well. It was just what I wanted as a gift for someone who was from Calne. They hadn’t been back since the 1980s and so they really appreciated looking back at the photos and enjoyed reading about Calne.

Great service I have used FF several times and have never been disappointed. Great gifts for something just that bit different,

Prompt service and well packaged

I ordered and received a personalised mug. The photo and title were correct. However, the personal message that I had requested was NOT as I had written? Instead of a heart, a question mark appeared - spoiling the personal message! As this was to have been a special Christmas present, I was deeply disappointed!

I received a response from Francis Frith customer service within hours of my original review. I must say I was amazed at the consideration, courtesy and efficiency of this member of staff (Claire Allen).
After apologising for the technical hiccup, I was offered a replacement mug. The speed and execution of this order was quite exceptional by all members of staff that were involved. I received this personalized replacement mug within days! Well done folks! The mug and message look great! Looking forward to the look on my husband's face on Christmas morning! 😊

Great service

I was born in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1945 and your book reads mainly because I had to spend a great time on my education at Newcastle University and then become a highly qualified civil engineer working with overseas.

First class service, first class product.

The indicated delivery date was 2-5 working days but this ended up being 9 days so make sure you order in plenty of time. The mug when it arrived I suppose was what was asked for in terms of the additional writing requested on the side but the execution and spacing of the wording was poor. Positve was that lady on customer service was efficient and kept us updated.
Update 10th December 2025:- Thank you for looking into this following the comments I made and it is very much appreciated that you have taken the time and money to provide a replacement mug which has fully corrected my initial concerns regarding the spacing of the wording on the mug. Excellent customer service. Thank you.

Francis Frith are a well established name in photographic archiving. On the anniversary of a loved one's passing I was able to purchase commemorative items of good quality with a family business no longer in existence photographed in the early 1950s reproduced on each item suitability personalised according to my directions at a reasonable price. I gave these as gifts to family members so I'm very happy to recommend the company.

Had to ring customer services because the book had not been delivered within the given time scale. I was surprised and disappointed when told that it was in the process of being put together that morning, which was Friday. I needed the book to arrive as a present before the birthday on the Sunday, so impressed upon the lady I spoke to that it had to be delivered at the latest on the Saturday. It did arrive by its class on the Saturday afternoon, but had I not phoned and aired my disappointment it would have arrived on Monday or Tuesday.

From the point of order online to delivery cannot fault the service. Quality product too - an excellent selection of prints and quality finish - a lovely birthday gift and recipient was very happy
