I am a customer who has purchased several times Victoria at Friarhouse is honest, knowledgeable, helpful and very cooperative and understanding, as are her staff. I have bought several beautiful pieces and my only negative is that I can always find something beautiful that I want for extremely fair prices and value so I try desperately to fight the impulse to buy as I know I always get a fair deal and a beautiful, honest piece of jewellery, so my willpower is regularly weakened. I cannot recommend Friar House too highly.

We cannot recommend Victoria at Friar House highly enough. From the very beginning, she took the time to truly understand what was being looked for and was incredibly thoughtful and patient in helping my husband source the perfect antique engagement ring. Her knowledge, care and attention to detail made the whole process feel reassuring and special rather than overwhelming.

A beautiful range of interesting and unique pieces - always something unusual that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Victoria is incredibly knowledgeable and the service is fantastic, we live the other side of the country but you would think the shop is round the corner. We love visiting when we are in the area and it's our daughter's favourite shop in Battle.

This is the best antique jewelry shop in the UK! Victoria is knowledgeable and honest, and has incredible taste. She is a true expert in art deco and antique jewelry in particular. Her art deco pieces are amazing to style with modern fashion. She also connects with other experts in the field and hosts amazing talks online. In real life, her historic shop in Battle is magical.

I have bought a few beautiful things from Friar house and Victoria, online and in their lovely shop in Battle. Knowledgeable, interesting, good eye for design and trustworthy. They are my go to antique and vintage jewellers.

Friar house has the best photography, the images showing rings on hands, and the height of the ring when worn makes an online purchase less stressful. They are also very happy to send extra photos which is helpful too. Quick, secure postage and good communication.

My biggest problem is resisting the wonderful stock they show on Instagram.
