I bought a small Signature Collection box of chocolates on Amazon to try before ordering anything larger. Sadly, the chocolates were so hard - like biting into pieces of marble - that I could not bite into them. The ball-shaped pieces were impossible and would have needed a hammer to crack. The only one I could eat was the praline square, and that was very tasty, but to buy a whole box and eat only one of them was such a waste. The chocolate covering is so thick and hard that I don't want to try them again. I did not check the best before date on the box, so it's possible that I got an old box that was out of date. Even so, chocolate should not be too hard to chew! It is surprising because all the other reviews for this chocolate were very good, and I wonder whether I got a fake product? I am disappointed because I had planned to buy a bigger box for the family at Christmas, but I don't think our teeth could cope with them.
PS: I have updated this review to give 3 stars, because I now believe the box I got must have been a fake. The one chocolate I was able to eat was very good. I am still very disappointed with this purchase and will not buy it from Amazon again.

I ordered the Dubai chocolate truffles but unfortunately they taste nothing like the pistachio chocolate. The chocolate is so tough and dry, the inside is a bright green gel like cream that tastes of almond and marzipan and not pistachio as advertised. Also doesn’t look like a truffle inside, the ‘cream’ was in its own blob not like the pictures. Bought as a gift and not sure I can give them, I couldn’t even finish one truffle! Such a shame and really let down especially now as my review isn’t being published on the website page which is suss… bought two packs as sounded so nice but what a waste!

My wife bought 4 boxes of chocolates at nearly £20 each – she wanted to give them gifts in a couple of weeks – and was bitterly disappointed to find they would be out of date in 7 weeks time. Not good enough!

EDIT: Order 64289, I've amended my review. My wife paid full price. You only guarantee your chocolates have a two-month life. That still seems too short.

The chocolates in the boxes are difficult to get out, I have to lift the plastic tray and push upwards. The chocolates are nice but I wouldn’t buy them again, I think I prefer the chocolates from a shop in Piccadilly.

Very happy with the service and my order. Made a mistake on my order and emailed them immediately. The next working day I recieved an email that they had amended it and granted a refund for that item. Package was delivered exactly with the items I wanted. All packed neatly.

Just when I thought Friars chocolates couldn't get any better,the Company are selling the Ice Cream Collection. Wow they are outstanding. Beautifully packaged,the Ice Cream Collection box is full of fabulous chocolates which are truly lovely to taste and they refresh the mouth. Definitely worth purchasing.

The vegan chocolates and vegan white chocolate Easter egg I bought for my husband were by far the best vegan chocolates he has had. We have never been able to get a good box of mixed chocolates till now, they were lovely and he enjoyed every one, the egg was delicious and crammed full off chocolates, it was heavy! We are delighted with them and will definately be buying more!

The chocolate is very expensive and although it’s okay it’s not worth the money they charge . Lindt chocolate is far cheaper and much nicer

Best chocolates on the market(I find Hotel Chocolat ones slippery)I received Signature Collection and I find ALL of the variety on offer appetising,interesting and delicious

I have just opened my box of Kakoa Icomic Collection and am so dissapointed. The salted caramel was sweet but with little taste and left a very unpleasant greasy coating in my mouth. I tried the brownie which was tasteless and then the mega which I had to spite out as it actually tasted of wintergreen ointment. I will not be trying any more. A total waste of £25.

Bought a signature collection box as a Xmas gift for my wife. She loved them. I even managed to grab a couple myself!

I bought both Rose and Violet creams and Choc Brazils as Christmas presents. They didn’t last long! They wer much better than my orders from other sources. I will buy again.

Their tipsy lux box was excellent. Good amount of alcohol in each chocolate and I really enjoyed them. I will order this box again.

I’m very disappointed with this company. I spend hundreds of pounds each year on this company and for the second time in 6 months a box of rose and violet creams are missing a chocolate. As a one off you can accept, but twice in 6 months is not acceptable quality control. Will look to take my business elsewhere.
Order numbers #443127 and more recently #2169. These are special presents for family members and twice this company has let me down.

I was bought an Easter egg by my son, I have to say I thought it was amazing & tasted wonderful, shall buy Fryers from now on, can’t believe how I’ve never found it before!
