We were absolutely charmed
We had a genuinely awesome time. It was not at all what I'd expected, this was not drag as parody, the dancers really are dancing their hearts out and it's a joy to watch because they are that good.
There are tongue in cheek touches as accents, there are moments of physical comedy woven in beautifully, but this is a dance show and not at all just a drag parade (and we'd have been up for that too).
Carmen in the role of hostess was bloody wonderful, her chat with the audience was genuinely hilarious, poking fun with a wry and very charming wit so that everything landed as fun and not a burn. I'd absolutely want to see her do a standup show,
The bad reviews really miss the point, the venue isn't fresh and new, but there aren't sticky carpets, no nastiness. I was at the Moulin Rouge in the nineties and that was filthy and so very tired that Funny Girls shines in comparison, but both shows were awesome because of the commitment in the performances and the genuine talent.

Went to see the show on Thursday 18th June 2026
DJ Carmen and the 3 girls and 4 boys worked really hard in all of the times they were on stage, loved the show and with no leading lady it was split between all the girls which I think is a great idea then you don’t have a diva trying to b the center of attention everytime there on stage

I have been several times to funny girls in the past and had a fantastic evening with comedy and fabulous drag queens so was really excited for the Drag tonight but ended up very disappointed with what I can only describe as holiday camp cabaret... If it was a school report it would read "must do. Better". Where have the drag queens gone no CeCe even the host Carmen left early..Come on Funny Girls you've lost the glitz and glam we all loved , we hope it's just a blip whilst transitioning from old owners to new 😔

Fantastic night. Third time visiting. I do feel sad about the negative reviews as it just dampens the talent and work the hugely talented performers put in. Carmen was outstanding with her brutal put downs as was Zoe before her. Try not to take negative reviews as reason not to attend this fabulous, talented, and fun filled show.

it was a good night the people do only mime and there are long breaks between the acts. they say you cant use e-cigs in the terms and conditions but there were people vaping openly. as this is not allowed they need to stop people doing it. if the breaks had been shorter would have given five stars for the show.

We attended on 12th December for the Christmas Show. The show was amazing, so talented and the music in the intervals was brilliant. The atmosphere was very good and service excellent. Will be returning

Jess was a fabulous host

This was brilliant. Worth every penny. Very talented cast and our host (Jess) was fabulous. The one star reviews are clearly squares. I haven't had this much fun for ages. So pleased I booked it. I will definitely return.

The show is not what you think , does not open it's curtains till 8.30pm , 10 mins performance of a normal dance from a different country with a big cardboard elephant, a DJ delaying costume changes for 20 to 30 mins , and doing requests read out congratulations etc .
Opening curtains again to what was a group lined up like something out of Oliver twist , they started to sing , that's when we left ,
This show is not what I expected, I expected a rude jokey comedian show with singing in between and curtains constantly open with one interval in-between would be better with songs dance jokes but in all opinion the way it's done currently is a joke , you don't leave curtains closed up and turn it into a disco with congratulations messages , a couple went out before us as they were not impressed either.
Not impressed wasted money
The good reviews are because people are severely drunk , a group in front of us whistling and screaming constantly, we could not stand that either nor the others that left before us . Nothing was said to shut them up either , even if show had been comedy rude jokes and singing and lived up to the name the woman whistling screaming at a DJ constantly very loud and the show severely drunk is not acceptable

what a fantastic night from start to finish.
the show was filled with very very talented colourful entertainment, helpful and friendly staff.
dressed circle was perfect, comfortable seats, we could go down and dance if we wanted. air con keeping the room at a good temperature.
couldn't fault a thing. loved it, will definitely book again....maybe Christmas time.

I last went there 10 yrs ago, then it was a good night my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the show! We went there on Saturday night 21/6/25, what a disappointment!! I don’t think the place had been cleaned in past 10 yrs!! You stick to the carpet! everywhere was filthy!! The whole building looked like it wanted a full makeover!! As for the show it was dreadful!! The actors/ dancers did a 3 minute show then it was requests from the compare for 20 mins, he/she didn’t show much interest in what he/she was doing either. We left after 2 sketches totally disappointed!! Never again!!

I have never seen such a waste of time in my life, the whole show was 3hrs when it could have been over and done with in 1.5hrs and that is being generous. It was the same 7 dancers throughout the show with extremely long breaks in between each number. This is one show that I would never recommend to anyone, save your money and go to another venue

Didn't know what to expect as was my first visit with my friend.
Definitely wasn't disappointed, was absolutely fantastic experience from DJ Carmen absolute legend had everyone in fits of laughter just fantastic.
Then the cast of dancers just outstanding, all fantastic but Cee cee was just amazing especially facial expression 😄 Amazing talent, costumes, routines, and the sets just blew me away definitely go again and amazing night out.
And of course last but not least our amazing waitress Destiny a lovely kind and friendly waitress.

Absolutely amazing night. Thanks mostly to our waitress (so sorry we didn’t get your name). Firstly she bumped us up to better seats, then made us feel very welcome. As for the show absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be coming back. Non stop laughter, singing and full on entertainment. The night passed so quickly. Can’t wait to see you all again.

Attended the Show Easter Sunday and WoW What a fantastic Show from start to finish. Loved Loved Loved It! Laughed the whole time. Milan's patter outstanding & London our server brilliant. As for Betty legs Diamond and her Boys & Girl Absolutely Amazing Performance. Will Definitely Be Back and certainly Recommend 100%....☆

I was celebrating my birthday and went along to Funny Girls with my sister, all I can say is what a fantastic night we had. The food was excellent, the show was outstanding and the staff were top notch, especially Auntie Alison and Liberty who looked after us so well, they made our already great experience that bit extra special. Thank you so much!! I would definitely recommend a visit, you won’t be disappointed x

My friend and I booked Funny Girls for Saturday, March 8th. We travelled from Edinburgh, Scotland, and it has always been on our bucket list to visit this iconic venue. We purchased VIP seats and the three-course meal and had been looking forward to the night for so long.

The meal was wonderful, the hosts could not have been kinder, the entertainment was absolutely incredible, everyone was so talented, We were having the best night until...

My friend was at the bar purchasing drinks (it was her round) the lady couldn't understand her order.. she had asked for 2 double vodkas with orange and lemonade, in which she recieved a double vodka with orange and a double vodka with lemonade (easy mistake) my friend tried to explain the misunderstanding but the lady was incredibly hostile, so my friend called me over. I explained again what we wanted, while the lady serving, flicked her hair at me and rolled her eyes. I couldn't help myself and explained to her what a let down her customer service skills were, especially as everyone else had been so incredibly nice and accommodating, she laughed in my face and walked away..

It made my friend in particular feel really awkward from then on after, we could see her bitching and laughing about us from behind the bar, which made the rest of the night a really awkward situation. We told one of the drag Queens who was doing the table service (and who was SO lovely by the way) about the rude lady behind the bar in which she told us that was the second complaint she's received that night.. so it wasn't just because she couldn't understand our Scottish accent like we initially thought, if others felt the same, and strongly enough to complaint.

She is a discredit to your wonderful place, and the atmosphere that was so camp, and so wonderful, was ruined by the nasty sour puss behind the bar. Beyond disappointed.

Outstanding, we loved it! Its so funny, great value for money too, staff were amazing. Show was excellent, there is nothing negative i can say about it, cannot wait to return.

Just been to the 30th Anniversary show. Really looking forward to this for 2 months now and was not disappointed. A fantastic show, full of dance, song and comedy. Cece was a great lead dancer and DJ Carmen was brilliant. Very witty and funny. If you liked Lily Savage you will love the posh version Carmen. My only criticism is the sound system. The music was extremely loud and muffled in places, you couldn't hear what some of the cast were saying as it was lip synced. Apart from that, loved the energy, the vibe etc. The Finale was fantastic. The waitresses were great and attentive. This was our 2nd visit here and if we visit Blackpool again then we will definitely go back to Funny Girls.
