From first contact to final goodbyes Kev at Fuse Electrics was superb! He answered calls and responded to messages promptly, turned up when he said he was going to, quoted a fair price and checked before continuing when an unforeseen issue arose. As a female householder without the masculine presence of a husband I can honestly say that I had no problems with Kev being in the house…added to which, he reacted very kindly to the vain efforts of our elderly dog to try and “help” with the electrical installation! Many many thanks. Also, it was great to see him supporting an apprentice at the start of their career! Very happy to recommend!

A little more considerationwhen working in someones home
I requested a visit to fit a fused spur to accommodate a sump pump. When the engineer arrived he thought he was coming to fit an outside light and was unable to do the job requested. A further date was arranged and 2 engineers arrived to fit the fused spur and also to fit a motion detector light (a later request) The lads were very polite and did a good job, however, their boots were filthy with wet mud which was trodden into my door mats and over the floors. A little more care would have been appreciated when it is known you will be working inside someones home.

Thank you for your response Kev and also for the email you sent me. I did not reply to this email as I did not wish to get into an argument with you. However, as you have chosen to bring a response to Trust Pilot I must reply as follows.:-
Your firm did an enormous amount of work for me last year and because I was impressed with how Peter Cannon and the trainee conducted themselves, I came back to you. You may also find I did give you a 5* review following this work.
I can categorically confirm your lads did not work in their stockinged feet, they also had to go into the kitchen to look at the fuse box housed in a kitchen cupboard. Consequently, the mud, dirt, from their boots trod into my carpet in the doorway and also into the kitchen. Had I been made aware they had dirty shoes I could have provided floor covering.
I was also extremely surprised when you personally initially turned up to do the job (fitting a fused spur) thinking you had come to do something to a light? I had filled in your on line form giving full details of my requirements and also mentioned these again when I spoke to you on the telephone. You personally were unable to undertake the job when you came, due to ill health, therefore delaying this job until you had someone available, the day before the sump pump was fitted. Had there been a problem it could have been extremely inconvenient.

Update: having spoken with the team, they say this review is completely fake and there was no "mud" left anywhere. One lad stood near the access hole right next to the exterior door and passed tools etc to the lad who was under the floor. When he climbed up the ladder and got out, he stepped directly outside took off his boots and did the rest of the work in his socks! He is normally so careful like this. I thought it was completely out of character and you can see all our other reviews are from extremely satisfied customers.
Oh no Pat. This is bad news to me. I wish you would have fed back to me personally on the day rather than doing so on this platform and crushing our 5 star rating average. Obviously something has gone very wrong here and I can only apologise and speak with the lads. I know they were walking under your floor and you warned me it was very wet down there and the reason for our visit was to install a supply for a sump pump to drain it out. They also know they were fitting a spur and the outside lighting, because I made sure they had the ladders with them and they asked why. If you had contacted me on the day I would have made sure this was rectified immediately, without telling the world. This is not our usual standard of service.
