The Letty had some systems issues with upkeep. One of the two zodiacs was out of commission since the engine was being repaired. I’m not sure if they were supposed to have two generators and one was out and then the other one went out for a day , so we did not have air-conditioning and we needed to have one of our meals on shore instead of on the boat, versus they’re usually only having one generator and then at one point it failed. They did their best to repair it, but I think it was an incomplete repair because they still had to limit air-conditioning. Even when the one generator was working, the air-conditioning did not seem to cool the room down until very late at night. Had I known the air conditioning was going to be such a problem and the toilets were going to be of the type where you couldn’t put toilet paper in them and had to put toilet paper in the basket, I might have picked a higher quality boat. The crew was always as helpful as they could be. The food was excellent, and the naturalist was very energetic and knowledgeable. I am very happy with the amount of wildlife we came into contact with.
