You've made the console worse
You've made the console worse. On the day before I gave the console in it was working and all the games worked. It didn't turn off in the half an hour I played the games. A few months prior it used to. Now you've charged 50 pounds and it doesn't turn on at all and has a YLOD.

So thought I’d broken my sons PS4
So thought I’d broken my sons PS4, pulled out the HDMI cable too hard, it wouldn’t reconnect, major panic, our local repair company in Brighton were useless.
Amazingly, I then found by chance, Gamer Tech, spoke to Charlie who immediately knew what I had done, and what was needed to put right, before I knew it the PS4 was heading back for repair, we had email updates from the start and within 24 hours it was repaired and serviced and was on its way back to us. Honestly I would not go anywhere else, efficient , reliable , friendly and completely honest from the start, no drama.
Apart from my son not having his ps4 for 24 hours 😂.. thank you again for all your help .. the ps4 lives on 👍

A Swift, Communicative, Thoughtful Repair
The whole process of getting my PS5 repaired was seamless. Swift quote; excellent communication throughout; a prompt home pickup and faster repair than I had expected.
I was worried that I wasn't going to be at home when it was shipped back, but they had the forethought to check with me before they dispatched it: double confirming the address and holding off sending it back so that they knew it would arrive at a time when I would be home; very thoughtful. Whilst I was just after an HDMI port replacement, they also gave it a general service and a spring cleaning so it came home looking pristine. Absolutely thrilled.

I've used them for three products:
> iPod Classic: a few years ago, but really good work and explained everything clearly.
> iPhone: Understood my needs and worked hard to make things work for me. As someone with health issues, the idea of being without a phone was scary. They took time to listen, understand, and then worked hard to turn it around at super-speed so that I wouldn't be phone-less overnight. Kept me updated every step of the process. They were honest that it would cost more to fix than to buy a new one.

I genuinely can't recommend them enough. I often get nervous about services as my health bits and bobs can mean that I worry about communicating or getting taken advantage of. But they help me to feel at ease, informed, comfortable, and I always leave with a smile.

The only place to go for tech support!!
I had an issue transferring data and apps from an ancient android phone to an iPhone and no other shop in York was able to do this! When I found Gamer -Tech, Charlie could not have been more helpful and managed to get everything done for me smoothly. If I ever need tech support I will be returning to Gamer Tech and I would strongly recommend anybody in the York area to do the same. Experts in their field and very supportive and helpful. Simply the place to go if you need tech support!!!

Hidden Gem
Perfect service.
I sent my PS4 Pro for repair after tearing the PSU connector off the motherboard whilst replacing the thermal paste.
Note: Local shops couldn't fix.
After placing the order for the repair it was collected by DPD, repaired and sent back within 4 working days.
The customer service was also top notch with regular updates on the status.
Item arrived repaired, cleaned, fully serviced and as good as new. Works perfectly with no fan noise at all.
A gem of a company who I will be using again for sure.

The service is what we all wish for and so rarely get, it would be a delight if all companies operated in this way. With regular updates on progress and the device returned at the time specified, it made dealing with the company a real pleasure.

If I could give 100 stars I’d do it. Fastest repair I’ve ever seen. On a Saturday morning I walk in and 2h later my MacBook is ready for pickup. I’m still impressed. After collecting it I got the estimate from another company who would have charged me 4 to 6 times what I spent here. These experiences restore faith in humanity, at least a bit. Great communication, great service, quick, professional, high quality. Definitely worth a visit if you need a repair

Fixed iPhone 13 Pro Max rear glass
Fixed my iPhone 13 pro max rear glass & camera lens. 2 day turnaround. Very good price below £100 for both.
Was quoted £570 by EE, staff at Gamer Tech explained that EE wouldnt repair the phone they would swap it with a like for like refurb which EE didnt say anything about.
Very grateful and happy with the service. Definitely recommend.

Excellent service
Excellent service. IPad. Pro. Had charging problems. Was quoted £640 at one place, the other couldn’t do the job. This Company after a phone call to them. No problem getting through by the way. Collection was arranged , excellent again. Photos taken the whole way through. E.Mails, keeping me up to date. Even a phone call from a lovely lady telling me, It would be delivered the next day. Arrived as promised, again photos taken, also had a photo to show problem sorted. I shall definitely keep there details to hand.

Customer service is outstanding, along with delivery. A great family business who have pulled it out the bag in my opinion! 6 Months later, they've still got my console
The picture went on my PS5 and I sent it to them, they've now had it for SIX MONTHS and are now avoiding my emails asking for an update. They sent it back around 3 months ago STILL BROKEN, and I was forced to send it straight back to them. I don't know the best course of action to take but I would highly recommend to STEER CLEAR of this company.
