This contractor installed 15 solar panels and a Sigenergy Battery/Inverter and Gateway at our house. They did a brilliant job, and have been great company right from the beginning when we received a quotation for the new system. Communication was great and following a visit to their showroom, we decided that this was a company that we could trust to do our install. We had to wait a couple of months for the install but that was fine as they are very busy company and we were in no hurry. G&E are a small family company but their service was second to none. On the day of install (2nd September) the fitters turned up, were very polite and worked very hard to complete the install in one day. The standard of their work was excellent and we have no hesitation recommending this company if you want a new solar/battery installation. Well done to all concerned, particularly Rob (Contracts Manager) , Alex (the installer) and Jason for his scaffolding service. We shall be looking for the installation of air conditioning with G&E next.

We have just had solar panels installed. Dylan and Kai were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They worked at pace despite the high temperature and took the time to walk us through every step of the job, right through to helping us install and understand how the app works - and answer our questions. Dylan and Kai carried out the installation and were professional, knowledgeable, and careful throughout. They ensured the panels were visually aligned for the best aesthetic and identified an option to add an extra panel. The wiring was run internally through existing routes and the battery stack neatly installed in the garage.
One of our key criteria was a neat job with no damage. Despite the panel layout requiring a significant number of mounting bars, and a horribly wet day, there was no damage the roof felt and no leaks. A few clay tiles broke during the installation, which is to be expected, and the team replaced them on the same day with identical, pre-aged tiles, leaving the roof in perfect condition. I don’t often recommend companies, but I’d highly recommend G&E.

Great company to deal with, Phil is a gem of a person and is really passionate about his work. He has got a great team working for him, which is a testament to his great leadership skills. Julie, Dylan, Stuart, Kai & Alex are all fantastic to deal with. Very easy to talk to and strong professionals in their respective fields. I have 27 solar panels along with 2 x Tesla Powerwall 3 installed through them, honestly I couldn’t be any happier with the overall service, workmanship, product knowledge, communication and personal touch. I am also surprised to see that they don’t have many reviews. I shortlisted G&E with some other big brands like Spirit Energy, Apex, Artisan & Heatable. Whilst all of those names were good professionals, G&E took the edge because of Phil, who is an absolute legend. I highly recommend G&E if you are on the market for a solar PV system. I am so impressed with them, that I have also given them my aircon installation business which they will be completing for me in the 2nd quarter. Well done G&E team!!

My initial contacts by email with Lucy and Phil were very informative and I was given a competitive price. These were quickly followed up by a visit from Rob who checked that the proposed battery installation was suitable and that there would be no snags. As the installation would be slightly easier than usual I even managed to negotiate a slightly reduced price :)
The battery and controller were installed extremely neatly by Dylan (with initial help from another of his colleagues as the battery pack is VERY heavy) in a morning the following week.
It has now been installed 3 weeks and has performed faultlessly in that time. We have had solar panels for several years which has reduced our grid consumption quite a bit but the battery has made a lot of difference and we have used no peak rate electricity in that time (and cheap rate only for charging our car). I'm expecting even more savings during the darker months as the battery will charge up during the cheap rate for our use during the day.
