Good looking, robust and comfortable Bench delivered efficiently through the vendors who had previously been let down by a well known commercial courier. Their customer service was fast, diligent and efficient, I would highly recommend both the company and its product

I don’t normally do reviews however I just thought it right to acknowledge the excellent service as well as the great quality of the two products we ordered.
We are currently doing up our garden and I was able to ring up and get some help on products from a very helpful gentleman.
Both the bench and fire pit arrived quickly and as described and we have been able to enjoy both just in time for this lovely weather!

Couldn’t recommend enough and will be ordering again.

My Partner and I ordered 2 benches we put the first bench together as per instruction no problem, on the second bench however one piece was slightly too large from the factory so we trimmed it down in order to fit. Asked if there was a possibility of any discount of which we got a sarcastic email back. Clearly a small discount is nothing in comparison to having to send a courier out to replace the l unit and remove the original one.

They sent a patronising response via a review and tried saying we fit the bench wrong hence why it didn’t fit, strange as as soon as we trimmed it down slightly it fitted no problem at all and the first bench went together without any issue.

Take some accountability and drop your attitude. There are plenty other good teak garden furniture companies, my recommendation is that you try somewhere else like Kingsley Smythe.

I am beyond disappointed. I was really excited for the two teak garden benches I ordered. Upon putting them together we realised where one part joined the other, the gap wouldn’t close due to one of the pieces of wood on the seat park being slightly too long. A quick fix was to saw a small part of wood off the end so it would fit together. Rather than replacing the whole bench and asking Sloane and sons to send out another courier we fixed the issue ourselves. I asked for a small part refund for needing to adjust the bench.

I sent photo evidence that where the bench wouldn’t have fit together, but because we modified it Sloane and sons totally disregarded any blame upon themselves. It is common sense that it would have cost the company more
Money to replace the bench with another’s courier. To practically be called a liar and told I am at fault and nothing will be done about this is quite shocking. I am extremely disappointed by this after spending so much on two benches.

To add, I haven’t fitted the seat bench the wrong way round. There are stickers that match up the pieces together. So now I’m being called stupid aswell as a liar.

I purchased a Lutyens teak garden bench. The bench was delivered very quickly, the quality of the bench was brilliant and it looks great in our garden. I would certainly use them again.

Ordered a Turnberry Flat Arm Bench a month ago. Super happy with it, really sturdy and well made.

I received my order the next day as well so delivery time was spot on.

I purchased a windsor teak garden bench via this website. i am very happy with the bench, its great quality. I phoned the number on the website before ordering and a very kind young man named Callan offered some helpful advice. I would recommend.

We have just taken delivery of 3 seater bench, it is very sturdy and looks amazing. Very pleased with the quality.

There is no guaranteed delivery date - they expect you to pay for an order when there is no guarantee of delivery date - an item has slipped 2 weeks in less that a week - simply not acceptable. The product may be good, but the service is far from.

The website was easy to navigate. We had a query with memorial plaque, the response by telephone was very quick, helpful & our requirement perfectly executed. Delivery was possible within a couple of days but we asked for a specific longer date again met. The Bench we ordered was just perfect for our requirements with excellent engineering finish.

In April 2023, I ordered two wooden garden sofas and two matching chairs, along with a full set of covers, as well as an eight-seater table and chairs from GardenBenches.com. I spent quite a lot of money on this order.

The order process was straightforward. I called to place the order and had a few questions. The person on the phone was very helpful and answered all my questions. Before I placed my order, they informed me that they were waiting for the stock to arrive and that delivery would take around three weeks, which was perfect for my needs.

Delivery arrived on time, without any issues. The delivery company brought all the items into our garden, which was very helpful. I was very pleased with the quality of the furniture.

We had chosen green covers, but a few of them faded very quickly in the sun. I contacted the office, and they immediately sent out a completely new set of covers. Their customer service was fantastic.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and would definitely buy from them again.

My husband bought me an Oxford garden bench for Christmas. For obvious weather related reasons, we left it in its (undamaged) packaging in the garage until later in the Spring. When I came to construct it, I discovered that one of the diagonal sections of the backrest was damaged. I contacted Sloane and Sons, who were unhelpful and offered no resolution except for sending a bag of glue and some sandpaper in the post.

Had we bought the bench from Homebase, I might not have been so disappointed, but I was under the impression that we were buying a quality piece of furniture that would last for many years (hence the price). In fact, the diagonal backrest sections appear to be glued in place and the whole thing seems pretty flimsy, even leaving aside the damage.

Sloane and sons' reason for not offering an exchange was that we had not contacted them immediately after the bench arrived. My view is that if they aren't willing to guarantee the condition of their new products for more than a short period after delivery, they shouldn't be offering them for sale in the winter months.

In summary, I would recommend looking elsewhere for a higher quality product and better customer service.

Paid for bench in error - immediately cancelled and was promised prompt refund. Three weeks and three reminders later eventually got refund. Not good service in today's market

Well I ordered at 11am and my teak garden bench and cushion was delivered at 0840 the next morning. The delivery driver was excellent and unwrapped the bench for me and took the pallet away too. Very happy with the bench it’s solid and looks great
