A fantastic job! I'm very happy with the final result. All of the staff were professional and friendly with great communication throughout. The site team's craftsmanship was second to none with exceptional attention to detail. For example, a couple of parts had some very minor damage in transit and they immediately replaced them without any charge. Highly recommended.

We are very happy with our garden office. Spaces was able to help us build a non-standard building shape to slot into the triangular corner of our garden. They communicated well and completed the job on time. The quality of build is very high. We also appreciated their proactivity. I received several calls from their designer suggesting changes pre construction. We implemented all of their suggestions, most of which we wouldn’t have thought of until after the build was done.

We are thrilled with our garden music studio / recording studio. Many thanks to the Garden Spaces team for communicating clearly with us throughout, helping us understand our requirements, and delivering a beautiful building with high-spec acoustic treatment exactly as we had hoped. Small issues along the way regarding some of the internal electrics were dealt with attentively and resolved to our satisfaction. Many thanks to the whole Garden Spaces team, and especially to Frank, who lead the build on site - whose pride in his work was evident throughout.

An extremely professional operation. The staff were very thorough and transparent with pricing. Any worries or concerns were promptly addressed. Would definitely recommend,

GS did eventually attend at site (Sept 23) to make a simple repair to a long standing problem with the gapping and cracking to the render of our Garden Annexe.

One year on and after the thermal effects of a winter and summer - I would like to put on record that the intervention continues to look good and there has been no recurrence of the problem.

Thanks for addressing - just wish it hadn't been so protracted.

We are really happy with our garden room and the service received throughout our dealings with Garden Spaces.

The pre-construction care was excellent, with special mention to Paul Baldock who visited us multiple times to talk through design options including production of a really useful web-based 3D model and highly detailed written scope/quote prior to start on site.

The construction team worked incredibly hard with long hours during some terrible weather to deliver our project, and accommodated minor changes as the build progressed with no fuss.

The build looked fantastic on completion, and the minor snags we picked up were dealt with quickly, professionally and with no debate including attendance from a company director to ensure we were fully satisfied.

I would highly recommend Garden Spaces to others who are looking for a high quality, fantastically well finished garden room.

We started our project back in August 2023, I had been in contact with Robert who was very supportive and patient with what we were trying to achieve. The intended purpose was to have my mother-in-law live at the end of our garden and the initial approach was to build a dwelling via full planning permission, which fell through and got rejected due to the history of our land and was unrelated to what Annexespaces do, so we re-visited our communication with Robert in early February 2024 and between the 3 of us (Robert, Myself and Mother in law) we managed to get to a good position to submit an application for the caravan act. and to my surprise it had got approved! Sadly though due to private issues we were not able to go ahead with the build, however I would highly recommend Annex Spaces if you are looking for a no pressure, supportive and knowledgeable team of individuals who carefully guide you through the design phase and are very flexible in what you want to achieve and where you can potentially save costs.

Will definitely be recommended Annex Spaces to any friends and family members.

If you’re thinking of using Garden Spaces, I strongly suggest you do not.

While the installation team were excellent, our experience of the company generally has been awful.

After our unit had been built, we were asked to pay for things we didn't want, hadn’t ordered and were not supplied with.

The company charged us for site clearance after we had cleared the site ourselves.

They wanted to charge us £300 for access through our house when access to the build site was available through an empty, partially demolished garage beside the house.

Delivery of some items required for the build was not satisfactory. For example, the soundproofed door – which was extremely heavy – arrived on a van with a driver only. This was a three-man job. Consequently, I and one of the builders who happened to be on site that day were forced to assist with the delivery. That was another oversight on behalf of Garden Spaces.

Unfortunately a leak recently appeared in the roof of our garden office, only six years after construction, and well within the terms of the warranties and guarantees we hold.

We’ve been told that this leak falls “outside of our standard warranty terms of 24 months on this element of your build”. I can't see, on any paperwork from Garden Spaces, or in any email, any reference to such a warranty. I found a page on the Spaces Group website listing the company’s terms and conditions but, again, there was nothing about standard warranty terms of 24 months, only 10 years, which we are well within.

Garden Spaces want to charge “a cost covering fee of £895.00 inc VAT to effect this repair – payable in advance”. I believe they should fix this issue at no cost to us.

I had to put this dispute on hold late last year because my mother was dying of cancer, which I told Roger Hedges at Garden Spaces. I received no reply.

In my view, Garden Spaces do not fulfil their promise of delivering “excellent customer service and attention to detail”.

The team were fantastic from start to finish. Communication was brilliant, the construction team are polite, grafters and always checking in with you to make sure you are happy as work progresses. The process was fast and great finishing. Would highly recommend.

Garden Spaces built our garden room quickly and efficiently. The workers were very professional, built it to the agreed spec. The key garden spaces project manager was on top of the project and therefore executed the project very well.

A brilliant team of dedicated professionals who take great care from the beginning to the end of the project. A few minor snags as you always get on any project and they were dealt with quickly and to a very high standard. I have to make special mention to the sales director Rob who helped us design the garden office and showed such patience with us as we made changes until we were completely satisfied with the design. Garden workplace/studio project.

Garden Spaces did a superb job for us last year, November 2022, in the rear garden of our Victorian Terrace property in Clapham last year. They erected an independent garden workplace/studio. Their team were very professional, polite and considerate of the property. They had to access through the house and took great care not to damage anything. The quality of their work was excellent and we’ve had absolutely no problems nearly a year later. They also followed up post the project to check if we were satisfied. We would highly recommend this company and would certainly use them again going forward.

I have a studio built by Garden Spaces. I found them very professional, quick, hard working and flexible to my requests. As it is a dance studio they came up with ideas that helped and have honest advice.
The build process was quick and smooth and the builders were amazing, they found that my back fence posts were rotting and took the time out to replace them. To speed up the process the plastering was done on a week night and they stayed until the work was done properly. I had a slight issue with one of the doors and they came back and fixed it with no question. I have seen negative comments with regards to feedback but I can honestly say that I have no complaints at all and have recommended Garden Spaces to other friends looking to work from home.

This is the second time that I have used Gardenspaces to build a studio for me and I am very pleased indeed with both spaces. From the initial enquiry, to which we received an excellent service from the Sales Executive, through to the planning and design stage and the subsequent build, the help and guidance was first rate. I had no hesitation in using Gardenspaces for my second studio as they had already demonstrated to me that they can provide a wonderful garden space. I was not disappointed second time around and now have a beautiful garden space.

Garden Spaces helped design and build a customised garden gym. I'd struggled to find people able to build into the available space but Garden Space were able to do this and I've been very happy with the end result.

I am delighted with the finished product - a 50 sqm 2 bedroom annex with living room/kitchen and bathroom. It was a larger project than I anticipated which took longer than anticipated; but the workmanship was to a high standard and any problems were resolved promptly. The company were always on hand to advise and support. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Garden Spaces are an articulate and professional company, we decided to build a Music Room at the top of our garden in early 2023. Planning was excellent and we were kept informed of all stages of the pre build process and timings were kept clearly monitored by the company at all stages of the project build by Robert, Karl and Charlotte.

As a musician I opted for the additional 'Platinum Sound Proofing, coupled with an excellent interior and exterior finish we are delighted with the end result.

Thank you to all of the team formal of their hard work, looking forward to many years of use.

My sound-proofed garden office was built in 2020. It's now 2023 and I still couldn't be happier with it.

Communication was excellent throughout, and the team were always helpful and eager to please. The build went smoothly and to schedule (despite Covid), and the quality of workmanship was excellent with obvious attention to detail.

The office still looks great and I use it every day as I work from home full time, and also use it as a music room in my spare time.

I consider it an excellent investment and have no regrets at all. I can't recommend Garden Spaces highly enough.
