Flimsy Product
We recently purchased 2 decorative Vista screens which we securely supported against metal railings with 1 third of the screens remaining unsupported above the metal railings.
In the recent winds these snapped off as if they were balsa wood. These screens are incredibly flimsy and in our opinion not fit for purpose.
Subsequent efforts to get help from Customer Service was totally ineffective.

I am very sorry to hear that you feel our customer services were unhelpful. I have reviewed the order and emails in relation to this. As I understand it, you used the Vista decorative screens as planter backs, installing them in between a railing of approximately 900mm and the planters. The recent strong winds have then taken off the top half of the panels.
I can see that these were not installed in accordance with any of our installation directives, and without any appropriate supports. We not only have pages of suggested installation methods, but there is also a link on the product page that says ‘Installing it yourself? View our installation guides’ which takes you straight through to this. I am confident every effort is made on our website to ensure customers are made aware that posts are always required in some shape of form with any installation.
I can see that you feel this was not clear enough as we have not explicitly said that you can’t have them just ‘floating’. There are a lot of ‘uses’ that our panels are not suitable for, but it is not possible to list every possible scenario and trust that the fact all the PDF’s we provide showing the many different methods of installation that all include posts, would be enough to demonstrate this fact.
I appreciate that it is frustrating for you that your panels have been damaged in the storm but feel that had you followed any of the guidance we provide, this could have been avoided, as the strength of any panel installation is in the strength of the posts.
With all of this taken into account, I feel that our customer service advisor has dealt with your complaint in an appropriate fashion, even offering possible solutions for you to be able to utilise the damaged panels.
Our friendly customer service team are happy to answer questions and offer advice to customers about installation and we would always recommend you take advice if you are not a qualified installer.

I ordered six trellis fence panels from garden trellis and i was pleased when i received them the finish was far better than panels i had looked at before and worth the little bit extra they cost well pleased would recommend

OPEN DIAGONAL TRELLIS
I bought two OPEN DIAGONAL TRELLIS CORNER ARCH PANEL (70MM GAP)
Price £112.00 and left them in the packaging for a couple of months till the gardeners put the fences up. i opened the box and then painted one side of the first trellis panel in creosote and when I turned it round I found one of the timber trellis strips was split through along its length.
I then started painting the other panel and found that much of the trellis lattice strips were short of the rebated frame around the arc and were flapping. As I’d painted both before I found the issues and it’d been a couple of months since delivery I didn’t go back to the Garden Trellis Company to ask for replacements.
However I received an email today asking for a review so I’ve written one.
All I would say is the panels are not cheap, were built to order and sold as a premium product, so they should at lease check the quality before dispatching. Just bear this in mind before placing an order so you’re not disappointed

I am very sorry to hear that the panels have arrived to you damaged, I can see that your order was delivered by an external carrier, who sadly do not always handle the parcels as carefully as we would like. It is disappointing that you did not contact us and give us the opportunity to rectify this for you before staining them as we would always look to resolve any issues of damage despite the lapse in time. We would not be able to swap these for you now as they are stained, but if you require some replacement slats to repair them, please let us know and we will send some out for you free of charge.
Delivery was interesting
Delivery was interesting. Emailed with a delivery date but goods arrived 5 days later with no contact or information.
2 trellis panels had a couple of unsanded slats with splintered wood showing that has now turned black.
I put them up anyway and I’ll sand the black slats down and repaint but at the prices charged I would have expected better quality control.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your order. I can see that the initial email you were sent was a despatch notification to advise that the goods were on their way, and can take up to 5 working days. I believe Sean in our ops department called you on the morning of the delivery after chasing the courier for you to let you know it was being delivered that day. Unfortunately, as with most couriers, and especially so close to Christmas, it is very difficult to give an exact delivery date and we do try and stress this in our terms and conditions and on the order confirmation to ensure customers are fully aware of this. In regard to the issue with the panels themselves, I am very sorry to hear that they were not to our usual standard, and despite asking customers to notify us within 48 hours, we are not unreasonable, and would have certainly looked to rectify this for you. Obviously as we have not seen the panels, it is is difficult to comment, but important to note that the rear of the panels are not finished to the same standard as the fronts, having said that I have never heard of a painted panel turning black and would be interested in investigating this for you if you could email in some images we would welcome the opportunity to try and rectify this for you.
Perfect Customer Service
Exceedingly helpful on the phone on initial contact and thereafter. My request slightly bespoke because I needed panels to be cut, but cut they were and perfectly so. A great product delivered on time as promised. 10/10.

WPC Diagonal Trellis
I bought some WPC Diagonal Trellis and metal posts. The product seem to be very good quality as evidenced by the 15year guarantee, and they're not inexpensive!
The only disappointment was that delivery was stated as 4 weeks but I had to phone after 6 weeks for an update, with the goods being delivered the following week.

It is not usual, and we generally aim to meet the guide times on the website, but unfortunately occasionally there are circumstances beyond our control that can have an impact. Excellent service, very good quality products and efficient delivery. My questions were quickly and accurately answered and additional manufacturing instructions were added and included. I bought trellis panels and posts, but was very jealous when I saw the wonderful hardwood doors in the delivery van.

Beyond expectation quality and service
Easy to order, great customer service when double checking the hight of the trellis for the larger sized planter, very efficient in adding the dates we were going to be away on the delivery/order summary sheet, and extremely pleasant too. Delivery with a smile and right on time with regular updates, planters were heavy too, don't know how the gentleman managed to lift them, Popey-like strength! The planters themselves are high quality, the paint finish is superb, and we were given a paint sample tin to touch up if/whenever necessary, but should last years. The colour is exactly what we envisaged (gorse green), all in all: beyond expectation quality through and through. Will definitely buy from the company again in the future. Many thanks!

Great and Efficient Service
Really impressed with this company. Having placed an order over the weekend, I needed to add to it on Monday morning and got straight through to speak to very helpful colleague and able easily to amend the order. Email for delivery 2 days later then product arrived as promised early the following morning. Highly recommended.
