Would NOT recommend this dealer to anyone. Purchased a car just over 2 months ago which has had continuous issues/faults with the engine. Back and forth into different garages and yet the car still has faults. Absolutely fed up and at a point of rejecting the car!

I have been so incredibly grateful for the amount of support and patience that Rob from Gateway Motor Group - The Wirral, has given me. I bought a lovely Peugeot 3008 from them back in late December 2025 and sadly 11 days later it broke down with a mechanical fault. I had to send it to a garage, which ended up being a Peugeot dealership/garage. They had my car for a month and constantly was trying to charge me for looking at my car or taking deeper dives into what’s wrong with it. Even though, it was quite obvious that the break down was due to previous recall issues, yet they still tried to charge me every step of the way. Without Rob constantly on my side and having my back, I would be -£1200. He was the absolute driving force in getting my car sorted. He reassured me with every wobble I had and continued to support me by providing me with a courtesy car while mine was being fixed. I cannot fault my experience with Gateway Motor Group. Rob really did everything and more. From messaging him before Christmas about my interest in the car, to today when I finally got my car back, he kept me updated and kept in great contact from the start. Such a lovely guy, would recommend buying a car from them to everyone.

I bought a car from Gateway this week and my experience was brilliant from start to finish. Dan was professional and friendly in all contact and the car was delivered to my front door in immaculate condition. Very reliable and personable staff and the car was exactly as sold, and very well looked after. I would highly recommend this car dealership.

Just purchased my BMW 2 Series from Rob, having previously worked in finance for 30yrs, dealing with Motor Dealers, I can honestly say it was an absolute pleasure dealing with Rob. He was very professional, a genuinely nice guy who delivered on his promises. The vehicle is absolutely immaculate inside & out for its age & has below average mileage. Would definitely recommend.

Well, I have had bad experiences buying cars in the past. As soon as I spoke to Rob on the phone regarding a vehicle,something was different. He sounded very genuine, honest, no sales pressure at all. I went to look at the car and was a bit dissapointed but Rob explained that he hadn't yet done the prep on it. I decided to go back about a week later (90 miles), to have another look and sure enough, the car looked soooooo much better. I must say that dealing with Rob was a very nice experience. Strange. I felt like I was buying from an old trustworthy friend than a salesman. Honestly, when he says that he does his very best to make customers happy, does his best to make the car as good as he can, he genuinly means it, really.
I have to say, I'm nearly 68 yrs old now and have never experienced this sort of dedication to service, not just with a car but with everything. If, like me, you don't know anything about cars, don't worry. You are in good hands when you but from this seller. It's like buying a car from your best mate, who you know would never sell you something that he would not sell to his own mother.
Aaaaaaaanyway. If you want to buy a car, want some, honest family service, just give Rob a call. You won't be dissapointed. Dealing with Rob is like dealing with your best mate.
Another good thing is that, if after buying a car, you have questions/problems, you won't be handed to different people all the time. You'll get to speak to the guy that sold you the car. In my car, it is Rob. No problems. Anyway, I do go on. Great service. Just go for it and don't worry. Recommended to all :-) J.P.

Having had a very bad experience with another motor trader recently, I was keeping my fingers crossed not to have a repeat of this. Rob was very reassuring when I went to view the car, pointing out bits and bobs that he was going to have sorted before the car was sold. True to his word, they were done when I went to collect the car. He has also been incredibly helpful with the one or two other problems that have arisen so far - happy to put right and quick to do so.

Amazing service made me feel really comfortable and reassured with the car I was getting was going to be perfect, which it was. Would definitely recommend happy with my car and experience.

Rob from my initial enquiry regarding a vehicle to the after sales has been excellent. Rob sorted out my part exchange, buying the tax, AA warranty - which we needed to use during the 1st week- but it's also piece of mind when buying a second hand car to transferring my private reg and paying off my previous cars balance.
I would highly recommend buying a car from here. I would not hesitate to buy from here again in the future.

They contacted me straight way after I made my first enquiry online.
I was told everything about the car and a test drive was arranged.

I purchased a used Nissan Juke at the end of November 2024.
Drew the salesman was fantastic, full of knowledge about the vehicle and also brought the car to my home for me to take for an initial test drive and again when I decided to make the purchase which was extremely convenient for me.
The car runs perfectly, I've had no issues so far and it also comes with 6 months AA warranty included for extra peace of mind.
I would definitely recommend Gateway Motor Group to my friends and family, great experience and trustworthy, a well deserved 5 stars.
