I had never used this site before, but when moving decided to check out local removal firms and came across this site. I did use Gilbert & Holle who came through the site and was very satisfied with their service which was excellent.

However, it did suggest another firm who never contacted me and when checking them out they were located a long way from my home so would probably never have wanted to quote.

Good communication. On time. Great value. Dedicated team.

Avoid at all costs!
I booked this company for a removal back in March, with the move being arranged in early July. The details of the move were quickly exchanged, everything was agreed and I paid the deposit.
After the end of March, no communication was initiated by Real Removals.
I messaged mid-May, asking if everything was booked and on track and was told it would all be sorted the following week and I would be updated.
Except I received nothing from Real Removals the following week, or the week after.
I contacted the company again at the beginning of June but the mobile number was no longer available.
After searching on the internet, I managed to find another mobile number and called (no answer), then messaged.
I finally got a message back confirming that I would be sent the details "shortly".
I am still waiting for any further communication: my last few calls and messages are being ignored and the move is now in less than a month!
This company seems to be operating a scam (they still have my deposit but seem to have no intention of doing the work as they refuse any communication).
I am aware previous reviews are good (that is why I had chosen Real Removals originally) but they date from months ago and it seems the company has gone down hill and is no longer providing a trustworthy service.
Last time I checked, a recent review had been added, stating Real Removals' service as "shocking". I would go further as service is non-existent in my experience. Beware, this company is run by scammers.

A very good way to find a reliable moving company

Put me through to an amazing company that far exceeded any expectations.

AnyVan was recommended to me, I choose them and they were very good and did a great job.

My original removal firm was unable to do the move on the date required and so we had to quickly find another company. Getamover provided a selection of companies all able to do the move on the required day. Quick response with a good selection of removal firms.

Helpful,professional in allaspects. Nothing too much trouble. Everything I wanted they did and more. Two brilliant men,extremely polite and honest. By mistake I paid them too much and they told me about it and gave it me back. I certainly would recommend this company.

So simple and got multiply removal companies to choose from and contact cor a further quotation and to discuss in more detail, what was required and needed from the company. And if they could meet my needs within the slotted tine frame. Which City Moves most definitely did. Thank you

CARDIFF MOVERS LIMITED REVIEW - Plates smashed and 1 mug that belonged to my LATE FATHER!!!.
Cassettes in inch of water had to be thrown, box being left outside in rain. Glass stool cracked, 2 metal side tables scratches, tv screen had marks. Hifi left in rain, water in vents, will not work. Gouges to brown consol unit, broken ornate mirror, the round white plastic globe of lamp that I saw being dropped and bounce like a ball on the van, huge crack and marks. Oily dirty sack badly marking stairs carpet in old house. Van dissappearing and late twice. DO NOT RISK IT! A QUALITY MOVE MUCH BETTER THAN SAVING MONEY! OUTRAGEOUS!

Very reliable and gave options to choose from. I was contacted by about 3 companies and I chose what is best for me.

From start to finish it was a professional, tidy and well organised operation, like a version of Tetris but with furniture.

I received 3 quotations from suitably capable movers. Had to use the most expensive to achieve the date required.

The Driver arrived an hour before the tracker said he would, he was very pleasant and helpful in a difficult situation and made it the best it could have been.

Found me a really good removal company, when I could not find one locally. I was getting stressed but they gave me the solution
