Whatever you do, don't pay monthly...you'll regret dealing with their credit provider!
I've used GJW for a number of years and their service and support has been excellent. Unfortunately, they have been bought out and their service has been very badly affected. Trying to pay monthly was a frankly horrible experience, with the third party credit provider using aggressive and threatening language in their correspondence. I cancelled my policy as a result. I then went back and paid in full over the phone and it went extremely smoothly as always. So, word to the wise, don't pay monthly it's a nightmare. Several of my friends who use GJW have experienced the same issues since their buyout. It's a shame.

I received a renewal quote in good time and as it was competitive I renewed which was quick and easy.

haven't needed to make a claim so can't…
haven't needed to make a claim so can't really rate the insurance but renewal bad. for some reason it doesn't auto renew so on the Sunday of BH I got a 'your not insured' email. the link goes to what I presume is the parent company but makes it look like a scam, particularly when the PW I use for GJW doesn't work. I renewed, but no email confirming, the deposit wasn't taken and when I logged in it says I'm not insured. Next day I despised I needed to renew again and make sure. this time I pain in full and the payment was taken but still no email to confirm and the we site still says I'm insured. I've now had my RCR members email but nothing from GJR. I get that this is because my insurance lapsed on BH weekend but when insurance lapsed when they are closed and cant be e contacted their systems should be much better.

The website is getting better but still a bit clunky - possible due to intermittent reductions in internet speed in Cornwall and Norfolk.
On the whole better than last year. Would really wish that the website would upload previous choices.

Tried to pay my renewal a few times
Tried to pay my renewal a few times and failed. Eventually decided to phone you and got no response twice. I eventually got through and was told the problem was you were changing your systems presumably due to the takeover but nobody told me so wasted a lot of my time!
Anyway once I did get through to someone they were very helpful.
