Thank you for taking the time to share this so openly. I’m genuinely so sorry to read what’s happened here, and truthfully, it breaks my heart to hear that your nails have been left feeling cracked, broken and weak after using our system.

The whole purpose of GLAMRDiP is to help people move away from the kind of damage they’ve often experienced from salons or harsher systems, not to leave them feeling worse. Our aim has always been to help protect the natural nail, support healthier growth, and give people a way to enjoy beautiful nails without compromising their nail health. So to hear that your experience has been the complete opposite of that is incredibly upsetting 😓

I can completely understand why you’d feel disappointed and frustrated, especially after investing both your time and money and then having removal become a whole process. It absolutely should not have been that hard. To be completely transparent, our Remove Solution is not just plain acetone. It has been carefully formulated with ingredients like Vitamin E, calcium and coconut oil to help protect the nails and surrounding skin during the removal process, and when paired with our Remove Bowl, the product should usually soften and slide away smoothly in around 15 minutes. The fact that you had to go through multiple attempts, change methods yourself, and still ended up with this result tells us that something did not behave the way it should have.

What’s especially upsetting is that once the product starts resisting removal and is peeled or forced away before it has fully broken down, that is often when the natural nail can become compromised underneath. From what you’ve described, it sounds like removal became much harder and harsher than it was ever intended to be, and I’m so sorry you were left dealing with the aftermath of that.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m genuinely so sorry to hear how disappointing this has been, especially when you dived in feeling hopeful and excited to give our system a shot. It's not the kind of experience we want anyone to have with our system 😓

I also wanted to gently clarify that we don’t currently sell on Amazon, so it may be that the kit you've got is from another brand or a third-party listing. That said, I absolutely do not want to dismiss what you’ve described, because the concerns you’ve raised are all valid and important.

Your first few sets can definitely feel like a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it really does become much easier and can save both time and money in the long run. The powder can sometimes spill over if the pots are especially full, which is why we recommend gently tapping off any excess and working over something underneath, like a cupcake liner or mani mat, to help keep things neater.

In terms of removal, I also wanted to mention that our recommended method is designed to be much quicker and easier when used as intended. With our Remove Bowl and Remove Solution, removal should usually take around 15 minutes in total. We'd be more than happy to send you out a set so you can experience the difference!

As for the application itself, it’s completely normal for the first couple of tries to feel a bit tricky. The good news is that bumps or unevenness can usually be refined with filing, and often just a couple of small tweaks make a huge difference to the final finish. I can completely understand how upsetting it is when something you were looking forward to ends up feeling drawn out, unclear, and far more frustrating than it ever should have been. That is never the kind of experience we want anyone to have with us, and I’m genuinely sorry this has been your impression of GLAMRDiP 😥

Your order unfortunately fell during a major warehouse transition on our side, and this created more disruption to dispatch than we were comfortable with. But I also know that from your perspective, the important part is simply that your order did not arrive as it should have, and that the communication around it did not give you the clarity or reassurance you deserved. What should have felt exciting and straightforward ended up becoming a real disappointment, and I’m truly sorry for that.

I’m so pleased to hear that you found the application process straightforward. At the same time, I completely understand what you mean about the finished result feeling a little thick on shorter nails and not looking quite as natural as you’d hoped. That can definitely happen on very short nail lengths, as the product naturally has less surface area to sit across, so the layers can appear more built up than they would on longer nails.

The good news is that this can usually be adjusted quite easily with a few small tweaks. Applying very thin layers, brushing off excess powder really thoroughly between each coat, and refining the surface after activation can all help create a smoother, more natural-looking finish. Some customers with shorter nails also find that using slightly fewer layers, where suitable, gives them a look they prefer.

You’re also absolutely right that a little extra length can help the system sit more evenly. Another lovely option, if you’d like to enjoy the look sooner, is using nail tips to create a little added length before applying. That gives you a little more room to work with and can often help create a slimmer, more natural overall appearance. You absolutely deserved a much smoother experience than the one you described, and I’m really sorry that both the application and the removal ended up feeling so difficult 😥

I also want to acknowledge your comment about the application itself. Our system is a little different from Shellac and other gel systems, and there can be a slight learning curve during the first set or two while getting a feel for the right layer thickness and timing. Many people find the first couple applications the trickiest simply because it’s a slightly different rhythm compared to gel polish. The good news is that once the technique clicks, most customers find it becomes very quick and straightforward. We’d really love the chance to walk you through some personalised tips and tricks based on your setup and environment to make the process much easier.

From what you’ve described, the removal process in particular sounds like it was far more challenging than it should have been. With our recommended method (using our Remove Solution and ergonomic Remove Bowl), the system should gradually soften and lift away once it has fully broken down. If it remains stubborn and won’t budge after soaking, it usually means the product hasn’t been able to soften evenly through the layers. That can sometimes happen when layers are a little thicker than intended (very common on a first set), when the surface hasn’t been filed enough to allow the remover to penetrate properly.

What concerns me most from your message is the part where you mentioned your natural nails being affected during removal. That usually happens when the product hasn’t fully softened and extra pressure, scraping, or filing is needed just to get it off. When removal becomes a struggle like that, it can unfortunately put stress on the nail plate as well. I’m truly sorry that this was your experience, because the system should never leave you feeling like you’ve had to force anything off your nails.

I also want to acknowledge the delivery delay you mentioned. Around the time many of these orders were dispatched, we were transitioning between warehouse partners while also managing unusually high order volumes across several promotions. During that overlap, a small number of shipments were unfortunately caught between facilities or routed more slowly than expected, which led to delivery times stretching longer than they normally would. While some parts of that sit outside our direct control once parcels are with couriers, it is still your experience with our brand, and I completely understand how waiting nearly three weeks for a kit only adds to the disappointment when things then don’t go smoothly.
