Impressed but overpriced
My leather sole slip ons will have their 1 year birthday on October 17 2026. So we are currently about a month away from their birthday. There is a small hole above the little toe and the stitching at the back of one of the shoes has split. I wear these whenever I can. I wear them indoors and to the shops. If you wear these outside in the rain, the leather soles will then leave muddy footprints inside your house. I absolutely love these slippers. They do not smell bad. They hold shape, even though the stitches have failed on one of them. I give 4 stars because I think that mine are nearing end of life now with holes starting on the top of the shoes and for me $179 is probably$30 to $40 more than I would like to pay for new slippers every year. If they lasted 2 years, I would give 5 stars. Last year when I bought these, I wanted to love them. So I put a reminder for their 1st birthday in my calendar. I found the hole on top of my slipper today. This hole has really saddened me. To me, it represents the beginning of the end for this pair. I will wear them until they are unwearable and then purchase another pair. I can 100% recommend these slippers. But they will only last a year, if you wear them like runners, as I have.
