Very easy to see availability & book & reminder emails are helpful
Only thing I would say is if for example I wanted to book 48hrs at Linear Fisheries I pay one booking charge but if I want to book 24hrs & a day extension ticket I have to pay 2 booking charges

We also understand your point around booking charges when adding different ticket types, such as a 24-hour ticket and a day extension. At the moment, some venues structure these as separate tickets, which can mean they are processed as separate bookings. That said, we recognise this isn’t always the ideal experience and it’s useful feedback as we continue improving the booking flow.

Confident booking with catch…
Made a 48hour booking at a venue i was really excited to go back to fish,
But on arrival it was clear the fish were spawning. How ever i emailed catch and they quickly responded and were happy to credit my account so that i can rebook at a later date.

using gocatch app
first time use was quick and easy and can pay with Google pay nice and easy you get a email back straight away so you can just turn up at your choosen place and see the person at fishery my experience was the man in charge in the tackle hut for royal Berkshire fishery to give ref number for trip great guy all done fish .

Seeing fish moving but not actively feeding can be one of the hardest situations in angling, especially when you know they’re there. Fish behaviour can change quickly depending on weather, pressure, spawning activity, water conditions, angling pressure and time of day.
We understand it’s disappointing when a session doesn’t produce the expected results, but unfortunately, catches can never be guaranteed. We hope your next session is more productive.

We also offer a Catch subscription from as little as £1.99 per month, which removes booking fees entirely and can work out as better value if you book regularly.

The subscription and book fees !! Gone are the times where booking was self managed by the lake its self. I would rather the booking fee go to the lake to help more with upkeep rather than an application like this.

Many fisheries are trying to modernise how they manage bookings, availability, payments and customer communication, and technology plays a big part in helping them do that in today’s world. Catch helps venues take bookings online, reduce admin, manage availability more clearly, send confirmations and reminders, and reach more anglers who may not have found them otherwise.
There is a significant cost involved in building, running and supporting this kind of platform, and Catch has invested heavily to help move the industry forward. If those costs were charged directly to fisheries, many would likely need to increase their ticket prices to cover them.
We try to be transparent by showing the booking fee clearly at checkout, and for anglers who book regularly, a Catch subscription from as little as £1.99 per month removes booking fees entirely.
We appreciate the feedback, and we’ll continue working hard to support both anglers and fisheries.
