problems trying to get new number set up. CANT GET TO CUSTOMER SERVICE HELP
I have been with GOMO for years and even though the coverage is not great but like most others in the area anyway so have stayed with them as it is one of the cheapest options. However the issue I am having is that my partner was going to move also and I put in for him to keep his number so placed the order with this option but it arrived with a SIM with new number. Have tried to contact through contact on the main page but it is not working and when you press link it goes to "cancel number". the online chat does not work. Got into a chat but they were in netherlands and kept pushing me back to the irish page but to no avail. I have got a response from the facebook page but this takes days for them to reply so of no real help. Asked for all my details in last message and have heard nothing back.

I switched my SIM to a new phone, & incurred the same problem. I followed all the instructions as advised on their chat line, but to no avail. On one occasion, the person on the chat line just hung up!! Totally dissatisfied with their service.
I Googled issues with GoMo & Three, and there appear to be some compatibility issues.

No support from Gomo
I am writing to express my disappointment with my experience with GoMo.
I cancelled my account, which was within the 14-day cooling-off period. Based on this, I should not have been charged anything further. However, I later noticed that a charge was still applied to my account.
I also experienced serious issues when trying to transfer my number to the service. The number transfer failed multiple times when it was scheduled to move, and there was no proper support available to help resolve the issue. There was no phone number to call and no way to speak to someone directly, which made the situation extremely frustrating.
I attempted to resolve these issues through the webchat customer support, but the chat kept disconnecting and ending before my issue could be properly addressed. This made it very difficult to get any clear answers about my account or the unexpected charge.
Overall, the experience has been very disappointing. Between the failed number transfer, lack of accessible customer support, and being charged after cancelling within the cooling-off period, the service has fallen well below expectations.

Difficult to cancel a sim. You have to give 30 days notice and send an e mail to cancel. They don’t give clear instructions and then just keep charging you. You can’t call anyone so everything has to be said over e mail or chat. Cancellation should be an automated service
Charging for service/number that could not be used
Ordered a SIM card and a new number, SIM was not received, was told I ordered an eSIM which was incorrect, tried to activated eSIM could not so cancelled within 14 days, charged for SIM I never got/eSIM that I could not activate 12.99 and another 12.99 on my bill for the coming month (even though the number could not be activated and therefore cannot be used, No phone number to talk to anyone, web chat & email support unhelpful

I submitted a cancellation request…
I submitted a cancellation request which was not actioned by Gomo and resulted in a charge to my account. Customer service refused to help or share my enquiry with the correct department and were very rude in their replies and shut down the conversation while I was discussing it with them. Based on GoMo’s own documentation, there is no requirement to reply to anything for the cancellation to be actioned once the cancellation form is submitted, which is what they maintain as the reason they won't process a refund.
GoMo’s site explains that cancellation (whether inside or outside the cooling‑off period) is handled by filling out their cancellation form — they do not mention any follow‑up confirmation from you being required for it to take effect. There is no indication that the customer must reply to any subsequent email for the request to be valid.

Absolutely dreadful experience with GoMo. We followed their setup process exactly as instructed, including scanning each other’s barcodes when activating the accounts, and somehow it has completely messed up our phone numbers. My messages are going to my mum’s phone, and the original numbers we specifically chose to keep are not working properly.
The most frustrating part? The customer service. They are completely unhelpful. Every reply feels like they’re skimming the issue instead of actually reading what’s being explained. We keep having to repeat ourselves, and nothing gets resolved.
There is a phone number provided, but no one answers it. What is the point of giving customers a contact number if you don’t actually pick up? It feels impossible to get proper support when something goes wrong.
This is a basic mobile service — calls and texts should work. Instead, we’re left chasing them to fix a problem we didn’t cause. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend if you expect reliable support when issues arise.

I’m giving one star as there is no option for zero. The most unprofessional and terrible phone service provider ever. I had to cancel my “no contract” line 4 months ago due to them not providing an option to call international. I am still having issues, they bluffed me off through emails, never executing my 3 cancellation requests, they make you fill out an online form and wait for a call back, which never came. I understood time and time again that my account was closed, asking bf or confirmation and never receiving it. Last week they pulled 90euro from bank account! When I called to discuss, I was told to submit ANOTHER online request!!!! I refused so the representative told me to send screenshots of all my initial requests and correspondence, requesting Attn of manager. No response. 5days later to send all again. A customer service rep emailed me and says they will not be refunding the money they were not authorized to pull from my account. I have again requested a manager to contact me. This has been the biggest waste of time and complete robbery. DO NOT JOIN GOMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do NOT Sign up to this mobile provider the signal is awful i am constantly on 2 bars i upgraded to there 5g plan there was no difference in speed or signal when carrying out many tests i contacted support about my issue they we're ignorant unpleasant as i was replying they just closed the webchat i could not find a number to put a complaint in. I dont even want to give 1 star. I recently switched over. Schedule my number to port over. It hasn't. Can't contact anyone to ask for help. Paid my 1st bill the day I ordered my sim. And they have just charged me again. Is this a scam or what is going on with this company. Now ive lost my old number and got charged twice within 10 days. Nice one people. ??? Rubbish customer care -AVOID
Everything is fine until you need to have ANY dealings with customer care. I've tried to cancel one of the numbers on my account. It was CONFIRMED IN WRITING that it would happen at the end of January, never happened. That was my second time trying by the way. Now they're trying to make my start the process all over again, when they literally just need to look back at the thread from before and do what they promised. I've been with them for years but this is bull*hit, moving back to Tesco mobile, you get to deal with real people.
UPDATE. The saga continues. I have moved all the other numbers we had with GoMo. We were with them for years, 4 numbers. We never needed to contact customer care, hence why we were with them so long I guess. They STILL haven't disconnected the number that over be trying to cancel since November. The only way to cancel is to port your number away it seems, but my son wanted a new number so I just wanted to cancel that one. They PERSIST in sending me the cancellation form over and over again instead of actually reading the threads, looking at history/notes (if they exist) etc. I've asked a few times to be connected to a supervisor, no joy. If anyone actually bothered to look they would see that the number in question wasn't used since November. Now I'm left in a situation where i will owe money for a service I've been trying to cancel. All payments are now blocked. I've added SIM only plans to my Voda broadband for 15 a month. At least you can deal with a human being there. Just absolutely AVOID these idiots.

Absolutely THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. It does not matter if the request is urgent or an emergency — GOMO simply does not care at all.
The complaints team is a complete joke. I spoke to someone named Irein (or something similar) who has no idea how to speak to customers and behaved as if she were the manager. When I calmly asked to speak to an actual manager, I was rudely told that I had no right to do so. This level of disrespect is unbelievable.
GOMO clearly does NOT value its customers in any way. Communication is terrible, professionalism is nonexistent, and customers are treated like they mean absolutely nothing. This company is ridiculous and completely incompetent.
I would NOT recommend GOMO to anyone — not even my worst enemy.

Awful experience, got locked in the contract
I had three numbers with gomo, all on one account. One card did not work for many months but gomo kept charging me. I asked to cancel the number, so I don’t pay extra especially that I do not receive the service - the customer service agent said that it cannot be done. It is next to impossible to contact them. When you finally reach them, the agents are dismissive and do not try to solve the problem but advise to contact them through another channel. Only when I wrote the external complaint they appeared and were “ready to help immediately”. I really do not recommend this provider. Transferred my 3 numbers to a different provider, my extended family will follow as well.
