The trap works, it did kill a rat. The problem is it’s made of plastic.
My rats ate the plastic around the metal spike so they could get to the food.
They destroyed the trap.

Got my A24 proffesional in the mail just before the weekend
Next day i got my first rat.

used trap initially with bluetooth issues and co2canister depleted with less strikes than advertised and then food pouch was eaten fully lasting only 3 weeks. inbought new co2 canister and butter nut paste. co2 depleted after single strike and rodents emptied food pouch again, the device appears defective with bletooth also not registering and then cost of consumables which dont operate as advertised is a waste of time and money. i am having more success using plastic $1 traps.

I ordered a refill for my trap 1month ago and have had no feedback other than that I will receive an email when order is sent!

I've tried numerous rat and mice catches with varying degrees of success. Baits are out due to other animals, traditional snap traps are messy and not always humane. Have tried the electronic ones which did work but tend to fail quickly especially if you don't clean the trap out quickly enough. The GoodNature A24 whilst expensive did seem address those concerns. I have it for 2 weeks now so seems like a time for the good and bad.
The good.. It does work especially if you follow the instructions with regards to the bait cards and locations. So far 3 rats, 1 mouse and one unknown. Pre baiting around the trap and not leaving it in same location for more than a few days has proved successful. Rats have proved somewhat messy and the big ones not instantaneous. Still it has killed them The unit seems of solid construction so I expect it to last.
Now the bad. The app is very ordinary. I had wanted to get just the standard kit with the digital counter but that wasn't an option on the Australian site though it is on the NZ site. I did try to order the digital counter from NZ but they wouldn't sell it. It is available on Amazon at 3 times the price. So the smart cap it was. I'm not sure why they went with bluetooth with its limited range and flakey reputation when wifi seems the better option allowing to be hooked up to a home network for better notification. The app did sync up to the trap if you got close enough which seems to defeat the purpose of remote monitoring and it reported the kills. However the last time it showed 2 new kills which was correct but those kills then disappeared from the app which meant the count was now wrong. There doesn't seem to be a way to manually change it. I tried logging out and then back in but now I can't log back in. I keep getting incorrect credentials even though I know its correct and it won't send an email to the email address for a reset. Very frustrating.
So in conclusion the trap does work. It is expensive but well built but is let down by the App imo. It would be good if the Australian site did sell the digital counter as an option as per the NZ site because you do need some way of keeping count of your kills for knowing when to replace the CO2 cannister.

Had the product for nearly two months and still have not caught anything!!

Not lured or killed even one rat. Unit still dumps its entire content within one week. Not sure how the advice that this is ‘normal’ would entice vermin to enter the kill zone when there’s no need to do so when the bait is conveniently dumped safely for them! Absolutely a waste of money.

Finally got the big rat that has been feasting on our grapes and my Apricot tree.

When I first seen the A24 from goodnature I new it was what I needed, not able to be at my property all the time, the trap terminated the rodents and able to reset for the next one was what I needed.
Patients was the key as goodnature mentioned as well as other key points to keep in mind.
The test cardboard rat demonstrates how hard it hits, I was impressed.

Caught nothing with chocolate lure. Have tried different spots where evidence of rodent occupation is.

My old reliable snap traps have caught 2 right next to this expensive junk. Stick with the $2 snap traps.

Works well ! Rats are learning that our house is where you go to get Good Natured ! Works well. Two Words Pre Feed ! thats the key.

This is only for the purchasing online experience that I encountered. The web page was a bit buggy. Eg, if I registered an account and put some things in the cart, I had trouble navigating back to the shop to add extra items after viewing an instructional video. I had no way back other than mucking about on the web page. I think I clicked on the Good Nature name to do it. Also, when checking out I was not able to leave delivery information re where to leave the item etc as most online retailers do. Eg, battleaxe block or anything different to the usual house. Hoping you can continue to improve and the products works as described.

We caught our first mouse a short time after installing the trap! It was so ease to install and clean up after kill! Gives us peace of mind that we have resolved our mice/rat issue after all the months of rain we have been experiencing.

What a wonderful idea no poison and humane killing. Great service as it arrived and I worked out how to set it up - I was really happy as we have a rat problem - getting into the wall cavity of our house and fighting and chewing on the electrical cables and recently caused our lights to go out! In 6 weeks it has registered 8 humane kills - no signs of bodies (perhaps the rats eat the bodies) but still activity in the wall cavity. I have been moving it around when the kills have stopped and that seems to help but $200 for the possibility of 8 rats in 6 weeks seems expensive. I will keep trying so hopefully we will eventually eliminate them. I will try the peanut butter lure next time.

Bluetooth didn't work. Contact gn to organise a return. Returned it a few weeks ago and haven't heard a peep other than these constant leave a review emails. Poor customer service.
