After purchasing a hyperextension and weights bench from gorilla sports, I have had endless problems. Both items were delivered in a reasonable time from order, however the packaging was in a poor condition. When I opened them the weights bench had a huge chunck missing in the black powder coating and there were sharp pieces of the powder coated shrapnel inside the box. The hyperextension had a few defects in the steel frame so both items were arranged to be collected and replaced. When the replacements were delivered the bench box was barely held together with tape and cable ties so I didnt have high hopes. Upon opening the box there were alot more damages on the powder coating and the item looked as though some one had started to install it then sent it back. The box had been repackaged and taped as though returned and there was only protective wrapping on some parts. Needless to say I was not fit for purpose was sent back this time for a refund. This entire process has taken 4 weeks delaying my gym completion. The contact is never consistent and if theres an issue there is no quick response, when collections are raised they dont keep to the date which caused another convenience having to wait in all day just to be told the collection will be a different day. At the same time as purchasing from gorilla I also purchased items from another gym company mirafit and have had no issues whatsoever. When making a purchase I appreciate things dont always go to plan and sometimes you can get damages, but how they are dealt with is a true reflexion on the company and needless to say I will not be purchasing from gorilla in the future.

At no point do they indicate that the item is being shipped from Germany until you delve into their shipping terms (it might not even be coming from Germany at all). No shipping updates - Evri still haven't recieved the package, which means it's still at least another 3 days away. I politely complained and was given a generic rubbish reply:
"Thank you for your message.
Your package H06KLA0000038996 has already been dispatched.
Please note that the first tracking scan usually appears only after the parcel passes through UK customs, which can take a few days.
We kindly ask for your patience and understanding in the meantime."
Absolutely awful service. Avoid this company at all costs.

My order from Gorilla Sports UK has been sitting idle with them for a full week. To an extent I admire the DGAF attitude, but I will avoid this company in future.
Update: the courier finally received my order from Gorilla, but for some reason they are now sending it back to Gorilla. I will be requesting an immediate refund.

I would highly recommend the hand strengtheners. They are of good quality construction and Gorilla were very helpful during my purchase.

I have just seen the response from Gorilla which is absolute nonsense, i emailed them at : info at gorillasports.co.uk on 3rd Nov 15:31 asking for a Vat receipt, no response, 18th Nov at 10:07 asking for order update with no response, 21st Nov at 08:41 with no response.

Sadly there was a delay in the delivery of many weeks. When the item finally arrived I was in the middle of a complete redecoration of my flat, so the box was lost in the chaos. When I finally opened it I found half of the pieces were missing and that there was damage to others, renderingit completely useless. Which is a shame as I have a weight bench bought previously and found it to be a good piece of kit.

I ordered 2 items from this company. The wrong item was delivered first. Despite letting them know, I am still awaiting pick up a week later. The 2nd item was delivered late. No refund for the 1st item despite it being their fault. I am now out of pocket with something I don't want. Read the reviews and go somewhere else!

The customer service works through email and through the customer service forms, but you do get to communicate with a human being. They are diligent, and courteous. Obviously there may be a time lapse in response, but they do get back to you within 24 hours. The issue I had is entirely with the third party courier on this occasion. This issue is now resolved and I am very happy with Gorilla sports. I would like to personally thank Tatjana Rak and supporting team for their help

Faulty Equipment And Poor Customer Service
I ordered two Wall Weight Plate Racks (£69.99 each) from Gorilla and when they came, after I'd opened the boxes and put them together, I realised that there was a manufacturing error. When I wen't to put the 2" plates onto the 2" bar sleeves the plates only went two thirds of the way down the sleeve because they had to put a dent in the sleeve to put in an allen screw. I emailed them with an explanation and photos etc and they sent back a £20 refund and assured me that they would send some sort of replacement 2" sleeves. A few weeks later I asked when the sleeves would be coming and they emailed back saying when we have non-faulty sleeves in stock we'll let you know. In the mean time, use the £20 refund we sent you and get some sourced locally. £20 gets you one sleeve on Amazon - I need 6, so nearly the cost of both of the racks combined.
Note that I emailed Gorilla about this manufacturing issue on the 28th of August and they're still selling these faulty racks on their website nearly 6 weeks later.
I won't be using this company again and would recommend going somewhere else. If the equipment is dodgy they'll chuck you a few quid, promise to solve the issue and then after that they don't want to know.
Poor and unprofessional all round. Shop somewhere else.
